I bought this because I’m taking A&P online. Helps a lot because I don’t go to class in person. Good buy

Comes apart easily, stays together in vertical position, but difficult to assemble.

This looks as expected but the guide to the parts (what they are and how to put them in) was confusing. Got this for my kid who is interested in being a doctor one day. She was so excited. I tried to tell her to pause and maybe let’s write down how she got it apart slowly so we know how to get it back together…but what do I know? I’m just a silly old mom. She immediately pulled the whole thing apart and we still haven’t gotten it all back together. Now I’m sure we are missing pieces. My tip would be to get a large ziploc to keep it in and make sure you keep all the parts together so it doesn’t end up like an infuriating puzzle with one piece missing. And go slow taking it apart so you know how to put it together. If you’re an actual medical person or student I’m sure you can figure it out - but if you’re like me and just a mom with an inquisitive kid…you’re gonna want to take your time and have a plan to get it back together.

Great for keeping on the desk and referring to, especially during bio classes. Love that it comes apart so you can get a good look at everything. This is on the larger side, which i especially appreciate. The kiddos have a lot of fun with it too. I enjoy that it is piquing their curiosity and can be a learning tool for them as well.

The kids did well with this hands-on model. In my anatomy unit, this worked as an awesome interactive teaching tool to show each child exactly where the organs go in the body and how they fit together. Also, I had some of my slower learners, some with and without IEPs have an "ah ha" moment when they realized how the organs we have been learning about on worksheets and videos actually fit together and fill up the space inside us.

Basic model for use with non medical people. I had a little difficulty figuring out how to fit all of the organs in properly, even with knowing where they went in the body.

I ordered this Human Anatomy Torso Model for my wife who begins her nursing degree very soon.It will help her to learn exactly where all the organs fit and what they look like. She loves this and is playing with this already. I will be quizzing her soon! LOL!It does not include all the lower organs or male and female parts - just the really essential organs of the chest through to the lower abdomen.Anything either medical or educational seems to cost an absolute fortune and this is BOTH!So really, we both felt that the price was reasonable. The base was made from plastic and the torso and organs from a softer more rubbery-type material. I would have liked the base to be a little wider, but I can see the reasons why they may of made it this size. It's pretty stable as long as there are no severe bumps or vibrations. It is a really fun and educational way to learn the very important details of just how wonderfully made, our human body is. We are both very pleased with this Torso and we would recommend this product to anyone who needs to learn human anatomy.
