I typically used incense sticks and was looking for gifts on amazon when I found this. I will never look back! This is a great burner that is easy to clean, I chose it because of it's appearance and cost. So far the metal is in great condition and most of the ash and tar has cleaned off easily. I found that using water in the basin makes the smoke collect much easier. I highly recommend this brand and this burner! The original cones that came with it are acceptable but I recommend choosing your own cones based on your smell sensitivity.

It works as advertized... Looks amazing... The only down side is u need to clean it once in a while.

While I love the look and quality of the incense burner, the cones that come with it are absolute trash. I didn't like that they were all in the same bag, and I couldn't even tell which scent is which and was barely able to smell them at all before lighting them. And no matter which cone I burned, they all had the same horribly scorched and charred odor. I have to air out the whole house to get rid of the stench. Also, if there is just the slightest draft or air movement in your room, the visual "waterfall" effect will not work. I only have a PC in my room, and even the minimal air movement from the PC fan will disturb the flow of the smoke.Do yourself a favor and throw them in the trash, and buy some good quality backflow cones. For good quality incense you will pay a little more money, but the difference is incredible. When you get 100 incense for next to nothing, you can be guaranteed they are trash.

So the backflow burner is awesome!!! Looks great, is hefty, and goes with alot of decor. The cones...they are pretty one note. And honestly I expected that. I haven't bought incense in a good while, but the last several times I did it was handmade and really smelled amazing.So while I totally recommend this burner I will say that the cones are probably not going to smell like much other than slightly scented fireplace or camfire. Pretty overwhelming. That doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile.It is very pretty, and honestly there are tons of hand crafted cones that smell amazeballs that will work with this burner just fine.

My over all opinion about this price is that it's well made, beautiful to look at, and inexpensive. The down sides would be the lack of a waterfall effect, as it does not flow at all when there is any type of breeze; that means no ceiling fan can be going and no windows can be open. Also, the space made for the cone is just a hair wider than the cone base, making the cone unstable. As far as the inscense goes, the few scents I've tried have been pleasant, however the cones make an enormous amount of smoke, so I wouldn't recommend using in a smaller room with no ventilation.

Incense 2/5Incense holder 5/5The incense are cheap, they leave a oily residue all over the incense holder, and this is pretty significant after 3 uses. This has caused a thin oily film to form over my desk despite the mat being underneath where my other incense don’t produce the same issue. The scents themselves are weaker than most but hey, you get 100 with the thing itself. Very easy to use. This doesn’t work well in drafty rooms.The moon itself is very well made (so it seems) and the waterfall is very satisfying to watch. There is nothing I could say I dislike about it. The incense bag isn’t labeled just a heads up.

Pros:•It looks exactly as the picture shows•The colors are gorgeous•I love the designCons:•The cones are different scents, yet packaged in one bag; why?•The cones smell “ok-ish†before lighting, but once lit, they ALL smell the same: burnt!Ex. My son came into the room and asked if something was on fire bc, it smelled like something was burning that shouldn’t be. I also was looking around bc I would have never imagined it could be the cones until I smelled the porcelain once it was burnt out. You can’t wash the burn smell off.•The cones leave a stained residue on your beautiful moon.•The cones also leak this sticky residue that drips down. It is difficult to wipe off and a pain in the A** because you must wash it every time you light a new one.•The cones burn a quarter of the time of my HEM incense burn.•They fill your room with a cloud of heavy smoke. 2x if not more than my HEM sticks, and mind you, it smells like you lit gloss paper or plastic on fire.Maybe I am just really sensitive or spoiled by my HEM incense? However, I went to buy different backflow cones that smelled amazing. However, all the other cones you can purchase of excellent quality are too tall bc the top of the moon is too low. I had to return it, which is a bummer. If they had made it an inch or two taller, this wouldn’t have been a return because I could use other backflow cones.
