Based on the reviews I was not expecting all that much and figured this was going to be a crap shoot.I was pleasantly surprised to find out that once I calibrated the thickness knob at the back of the unit properly I could get it to count Polymer money and Paper money perfectly. So perfect that I counted the same stack of 100 Bills three times and it came out exactly right on all three counts.Yes on some older bills that I counted it would read 39 when there was 40 but if I counted again I would get 40 and a third count was 40 again. After an hour of messing with the thickness knob it I was getting consistently accurate counts even when I mixed old paper notes with the newer polymer notes.About the only negative with this machine is that about 50% of the time it counts so fast that a couple of the bills in the Stack will go flying up into the air and onto the ground. This happens a lot more often with the Polymer notes because they are so light.I could get 100x paper bIlls into the machine but in some cases it requires a bit of tapping on the bills for it to grab them. It will handle the thinner Polymer bills with no problem in batches of 100.BTW this is a Bill counter, it only counts the amount of bills not the Values of the bills. So it does not add up totals and does not know the difference between a $10 Note and a $20 Note. If you want one of those kinds of Machines, they run about $500- $600.

This machine has got to be the best thing I've bought in a while. Polymer money sticks together like superglue if a microgram of water hits it. With this money counter, getting accurate numbers is super easy, barely an inconvenience. Now all the people that pay me with dollar bills to annoy me are out of luck. HA!
