Solid product just make sure to inspect and clean leftover molding inside fitting. I had to drill leftover casting material out of one side but no big deal

I have an older Dodge Durango that uses a Y shaped heater hose with an integrated plastic Y. Dodge only sells the complete hose assembly for repair purposes. Typically the Y develops a split that requires the entire hose assembly replacement, but with this product and a little time you can have your vehicle back and running on the cheap. The only thing to look out for is the plastic Y goes inside AND outside the factory heater hose, so once removed, you have to make sure to remove the inner plastic piece (not hard).

Used on my 2008 Chrysler Town & Country touring with the 3.8 L V6 engine. Unfortunately, all the ones at the auto parts stores which said they fit my vehicle were 5/8 inch and so did not fit properly. This one did the trick and it’s aluminum so it will last much longer!!

used this to fix my busted heater hose and it worked perfect. great size and the hardest part was taking out the old junk ford put in. I wish that ford would put something like this in from the start.

Knowing sells bad products that could be easily remedied. There's plenty of reviews before my purchase showing the pipes are blocked due to a poor casting yet they refuse to solve the problem and expect the buyers to machine and further process the product to make it usable. While also paying an extremely premium price for what it is. (An 80 cent piece of cast aluminum sold for 22 dollars USD a piece).I assumed they seen the issues in the prior reviews and would have fixed the problem. Sadly they don't gaf and take advantage of everyone.

A few corrections or counter points to what I see in the reviews...My Y didn't need any drilling out. There was a little ridge but nothing I felt needed to be buffed out. Also, my hoses were 5/8" not 3/4. It's possible I got the wrong size hoses. It took some work to jam them on but it appears to be working fine.Also when I bought this I thought it said the origin was Korea,.. I can't find that on the page anymore. My part said it was made in China. This part is definitely more expensive and you may need hose clamps or screw clamps (I put some on, but it ran fine without them) adding to the cost, but the cost and inconvenience of blowing coolant on a long trip could be way worse.
