Got this to supply power to my diesel heater and it works perfectly for that. Minimal footprint and wall hangable are plusses. Recommend for that application at least.

For years, I have been using a 30-Amp Astron linear power supply on my bench. It takes up a lot of space and weighs about as much as a cinder block if you need to move it around. While it's very reliable and still works fine, I'm trying to gain some space back, so I ordered this switching power supply.It's amazingly small and light or something that puts out nearly twice the current as my existing PSU. I'd call the build quality adequate. It's not over-engineered like some of the American DC power supplies, but it isn't outright junk either. The case is bent aluminum sheet with cooling slits and an opening for a fan punched into it. The plastic end cap that holds the terminals is not confidence-inspiring, but it should be fine if treated with care. The terminals themselves are good quality and come all the way apart so that ring terminals can be used. Polarity is molded into the plastic end cap and the positive + sign is painted red. You kind of need good light to see them apart.The power cord is integral, which isn't the greatest, if it were a D-shaped connector then you could use any length cord you want. All part of the low price. The fan is pretty quiet when it is running, and a blue LED lights up to show power is on. My Fluke meter shows 12.19 volts rock solid on the outputs.Overall, this is a good no-frills DC power supply. It's hard to imagine getting more at this price point. I'm not going to sell the old Astron just yet, but I do plan to put it into storage as a spare. Recommended.

Works as it should with no problems. It’s definitely better than using a12 volt battery.
