I ordered the 5-8 size and they barely fit my averaged sized five year old. You most definitely need to size up. Additionally, they are very thin--not the best for a Midwest winter. I would not recommend purchasing these for anyone who spends a lot of time outside.

I have 4 boys a year apart, my youngest is 5,6,7,8they barely fit and very tight the material is a little thin. Sorry but I wouldn't recommendMy children are thin, so if a kiddo with some meat on the bones tries these they won't fit.

The Newcotte 6 Pairs Kids Winter Ski Gloves Waterproof Snow Mittens arrives in a vacuum sealed bag, so they need time to regain their original shape. I put them in the dryer to fluff them up and remove the wrinkles. The gloves are well made, colored and fit well.

My kids hate these. The thumb doesn’t fit well. My kids are almost 6 for reference.
