Your cart is empty.Our 5/8 in. Circle Brass Rim Wired Doorbell Push Button can be used with doorbell chimes, ringers, and door buzzers. It's also ideal to use as a doorbell button replacement and may be placed on various wall surfaces, such as stucco or wood. If using as a replacement, there may be no need for drilling. Versatile and reliable, it will work with practically any door bell transformer or wired chime. The doorbell wire does not come included in this package. PLEASE NOTE: A diode is needed (not included) if you are using a digital chime (plays a melody; has a speaker for the sound). A diode is NOT needed if you are using a mechanical doorbell chime (a 2-note sound; like a small mallet hitting a metal bar). The old one had a clear bezel and I was happy to find a clear bezel replacement on Amazon. The doorbell faceplate was bought at an Art Fair looong ago. The button slipped into the 5/8" hole perfectly. Unlike the last time when the button was glued in, I wound a bunch of duct tape around the button to hold it in. If it lasts another 10 years, I'm OK with that.

Poorly made. I don't expect it to last long as the switch came apart while just attaching the wires to it. It also arrived bent on the outer edge which I was able to fix with my fingers-the metal is so thin.

I purchased this to replace a lighted inset that came with a more expensive doorbell surround. My house has three garage doors, two garage genie’s and an off-brand. The third opener switch failed and I couldn’t find an exact replacement. I initially purchased a fairly overpriced, but admittedly quality-looking doorbell thinking it would work. Unfortunately I hadn’t learned that lighted push-buttons don’t work with garage doors. I attempted to modify the button to get rid of the light and it failed miserably. Rather than abandon the project, I purchased this product, shaved out the hole of the housing, and paired them together.It works great, is reliable, opens my garage door - and looks good doing it. It’s definitely quality, though I felt it was a bit pricey, so I gave it 4 - stars instead of 5.

We needed to replace a cracked doorbell button that was over 50 years old. I looked all over the doorbell and could not figure out how to uninstall to replace it, no screws, no holes to pop it out, nothing. This worked perfectly as there no need to remove the entire doorbell, just popped out the button and replaced. Very easy to install and works perfectly.

When I received this item it didn't work. I found the bulb inside was shorting out and had to take the button apart and remove the light.
