The cover is made out of wood, so it will last longer than a plastic chime cover and will not turn yellow over time. It may also be painted another color. The unique design is laser-cut, allowing for a clean and smooth look. Hardware is included to hang the cover over the chime securely. This cover will fit most chimes, including most Newhouse Hardware, Heath Zenith and Nutone Brands (please measure your chime first before purchasing; see the image that shows the dimensions).

Got this to help cover up my doorbell chimes in the house. It looks really nice, and with it being made out of wood I am sure you could paint it to match your walls if needed.

I bought this cover since my 1977 doorbell cover fell off and busted on the tile floor. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install and it stays, it's beautiful and matches my grey walls wonderfully.

I am so happy I found this doorbell cover. I absolutely LOVE it!!! It is the perfect size and covers my doorbell completely. My doorbell no longer works and I didn’t want to remove it. As you can see, from the photos, the old doorbell cover had turned yellow and was very unattractive with my new decor. I love the palm design of my new cover. It also comes with a screw and screw holder if needed.

Just add a screw above existing box and place over. I put to high so had to tap screw lower until it fit. Covers up the ugly cream and adds a bit of decor to the room. Took off a star because it had some black gunk on it.

Just lovely! I had an old, yellowed, dingy, Nutone doorbell and cover. The electrician told me nothing is wrong with the doorbell and to paint the cover. That cover cracked upon my handling of it and I was looking for a replacement cover when I came across these cover boxes. Although it is meant to be hung horizontally, I hung mine vertically using a push tack. This way I don't have to cover holes from moving the bracket and simply making more work for myself in the midst of painting the interior of my house. I love this simple solution and no paint required!

Looks like a mini art piece! Perfectly hides a dated doorbell chime cover and takes all the attention away from it. This was just the perfect solution. I should have included the before photo!
