so i wanted to replace my EGR valve just to put new parts on my older mustang and i had no check engine light at all i just wanted a new shiny part so i replaced it and within 30 miles my check engine light came on for the EGR valve so it was defective. Not getting item replaced just going to spend the little bit extra money on a new one from the parts store. You get what you pay for! and ive learned if it aint broke dont fix it lol..
