I bought these after hearing my dad talk about the little paper putz villages from his childhood Christmases. It wasn’t exactly the same as those, but he still really enjoyed seeing it set up with little lights inside. I bought a different set of lights that could be controlled with a remote.

Surprisingly these houses were larger than I thought they would be. Only downside was they didn't come with instructions. Im a creative crafty person so I figured it out. After several hours of working on them I have what I need for my Christmas winter wonderland deco. LOVE them!!!!

I completed all but one of the buildings. I do not recommend painting them. The quality of the cardboard leaves a lot to be desired. I used colored pencils on mine. I added a few things - frames around the windows & doors, plastic sheeting over the windows. I made a couple of doors where there weren't any. I put fake gems on all the buildings to simulate lights. I also used holographic paint on the roofs to simulate snow - the moisture from the paint warped the cardboard on several of the buildings. I used hot glue to make sure the pieces stayed together. And where the assembly tabs appeared on the outside of the finished product, I cut them off at the outside and secured the remaining bit with hot glue. All in all they turned out pretty nice - kinda on the large side, but nice. I'm going to put color changing LED tealight candles in them. Each building has a QRcode that can be scanned for assembly instructions. If the cardboard has been a better quality I would have given them 5 stars.
