I've been using this rotary cutter for the past 2 days to get some holiday crafting done. I've never used a rotary cutter before, but this was simple and intuitive to use and has a nice design. Easy to switch blade for replacement or if left/right handed, nice safety feature (slide to unlock, but springs back into the guarded/locked position), came very sharp, rolled smoothly without any snagging or much pressure needed to cut. The only (minor) issue I have with this is that the way I hold the cutter, my thumb naturally wraps around and rests near the "release" button, so I've accidentally retracted the blade a dozen times now. Thankfully it hasn't resulted in any accidents, but it's just awkward enough for me to knock off 1 star. If you're left-handed, this shouldn't be an issue. I also didn't give it 5 stars because the plastic handle felt very lightweight and hollow. If I dropped this on a concrete or tile floor, I feel like it would break pretty easily. Having a thicker/heavier handle would not only mean durability, but also mean needing to apply less pressure. Not an issue for me, but I could see my arthritic mom or aunt having difficulty with gripping and pressing down.

We bought this to replace a Fiskars cutter that fell apart after many years. So far, it's been working well. We saw some reviews that indicated that it did not cut well. We've not experienced that, but then we were not terribly concerned with the blades that came with it since we have a decent supply of blades we really like. So even if the life of the enclosed blades is short, we are still ahead.

This tool has been super handy in customizing clothing and creating easy fun patterns! Super sharp for cutting but the guard is handy to keep others safe. Highly recommended product!

These cut like running through butter. Very Sharp blades (i only touched it briefly!). As long as you keep checking the tightness off the bolt, these will last a very very very long time.I've been using these, for about a year, to cut leather and I only just changed the blade a month ago.

Estaba buscando uno de estos ya que anterior mente tenÃa uno más barato y tenÃa el problema de que se desaflojaba la cuchilla. Pero este mi primera impresión es que corta bien, está fijo y es muy cómodo de manejar. Además trae cuchillas de repuesto.
