I listen to many CD’s, some my own and some from a library. I use the CD cleaning disc by NICER. It’s EXCELLENT and offers great music to hear while it cleans the dust and oil and whatever needs to be cleaned from my 3 CD players. I LOVE the NICER CD Cleaner. The simplicity of this product to use. It a wonderful addition to anyone who has old cds that skip or don’t play because of scratches and accumulated dust or finger oils. I really like it let me hear my Bee need cds again even my old doowop tunes that I recorded with when I sang with The Streetlites. The unit is sturdy at holds every thing you need including a how to sheet written so you can actually read the instructions.I was listening to my reborn cds in less than ten minutes. GREAT BUY!

This cleaning kit is effective to clean a CD player which skips or mistracks if used correctly. However, the directions are wrong. They tell you not to use the bottled solution and to use the CD disc for 20-30 minutes.The correct way is to lightly wipe the tip of the solution bottle across each of the 2 brushes to moisten. Then insert into CD player or transport. The directions speak to you thru your speakers and plays a couple of songs telling you when to advance each track. After about 3 minutes it tells you that the cleaning process is completed. If the player still mistracks or skips repeat this process again.I've used similar CD player cleaning products over the past 40 years, and bought one of the very first CD players made in 1983. I have been a music lover and audiophile for over 55 years and have owned several CD players and high end transports. Also make sure your CD discs are clean and get a separate CD cleaning kit if needed.If you do what the written instructions tell you to do and use the disc without the solution and run it for 20-30 minutes, the cleaning disc will die a premature death, with extra wear and tear on your CD player.

Does the job but on one phase it plays the most horrendous and awful RAP music while it is cleaning. I had to turn that horrible sound down.

The cleaning disc consists of a regular cd disc with the very small brushes on the under side of approximately 1/32†high (yep, very small) by about 1/4â€. These two small brushes brush over the lens to clean off any dust, lint or residue.Unfortunately on my disc one of the brushes was practically not more than 1/64†high. I don’t know if that was enough to clean the lens. I ran the cleaner a few times and hope it did 5he job.I didn’t bother to complain nor wanted to return it because it just wasn’t worth the extra damage to the environment just to get a replacement.

This dvd cleaner disc works really well. Just load it and it cleans. About 30 min. I like that it came with cleaning solution and a cloth for disc cleaning as well.

I’ve used it on my old DVD player and it’s still worked the DVD player, but this did bring it back to life a little more. It was less skipping and the color was a little better after cleaning it.

Very easy to use, but did not solve my optic cleaning needs. I would have said 5star but it just didn’t consistently allow reading and use of DVD’s. Maybe just too dirty or defective.
