Update 7/13/2020Followed the break in process by varying RPM without load until head reached 200F with an infrared thermometer. Then let cool to ambient. Did 3 cycles of this process with no WOT.Did a compression test and the engine is right at 120psi.Have put about 2 hours on the engine since break in, again taking it easy with WOT for the first tank.So far it runs great.Original 7/9/2020I did a visual comparison of the original Yamaha jug to this Niche jug.Visually I couldn’t notice any differences in the casting quality.I has seen some complaints of rough casting on these in the forums but at least in the one I purchased. The casting holes, burs, etc seem to be on par with the original from Yamaha. The intake port is a little different from my OEM jug, but my bike is one of the original years so Yamaha may have updated the design later.Make sure you watch the spacer on the intake. I didn’t originally notice the factory had a spacer between the reed cage and the jug.You need to transfer that spacer to the new jug.If you don’t have at least three gaskets for the intake assembly don’t separate the intake from the reed cage, or the reed cage from the spacer.Only remove the spacer and the rest of the assembly as one piece. Otherwise you will be ordering more gaskets or making your own.Ask me how I know...I decided to go with a Wiseco forged stock size piston. It seems to fit just fine, although honestly I forget to check all the measurements before assembling the piston into the cylinder. It all had a good fit and I just got excited.I will update this after I run the new cylinder.

Needed this cylinder for a 2003 yamaha blaster, installed new head studs and stock head did not fit the bolt pattern. I had to enlarge the holes in the head and the head gasket to make it work. After the modifications i bolted everything together used a standerd bore wiseco piston and it fired up. The quad sounds good and hope there is no issues from the modification.

Fit 2000 Blaster 200 perfect, bought the NICHE piston kit separate! (rings and pin were included with the piston kit).So far the Cylinder has not warped, I have about 150 miles on the bike with the new kit and no issues, starts on first kick. Does not work with stock piston. The Cylinder bore is too tight. You will need NICHE piston and ring kit for sure.

This cylinder for the Yamaha Blaster is a solid replacement. The quality is great, the fit was perfect, and it worked flawlessly once installed. Definitely a great option for anyone needing a reliable replacement!
