The Nightingale chair is a beast but five years ago when I bought it I did read a review saying that the weakest part was the plastic armrest covers and to "prepare to replacce them" in a few years. Well, fast forward now, I did just that - and the chair is still as good as new. It's not cheap, but when you work 10 hours a day in a chair it's as important - maybe more so - than having a quality mattress.

perfect match, even a bit stronger surface so perhaps it will not tear again. easy off with the old and on with the new.
