Yes, it is removeble back. Place the clock face down in one hand. With the other hand grip the rim of the back of the shelf clock and turn to the left.

This clock is adorable & easy to read... my only complaint is that the color of the face is darker than shown in the photo. In the photo it is a cream color but on the clock I received it is more of distressed beige color.Otherwise very cute & keeps accurate time.

FOREST .. I Love it . Looks Rustic old and gorgeous. Love the color and distressing paintwork.I love that it is mainly metal and solid looking (back is plastic but looks gorgeous and fits beautifully hiding the carbon zinc AA battery (not supplied .. you add your own battery on arrival ) inside the cover ..clips on and off with little effort.)Love the face and that it looks like a glass cover.It stands solidly with a lean backwards which takes a little getting used to as I prefer more upright but it is so cute and a good size. The face is easy to read the time except when there is reflection from light on the cover.There is no backlight or anything to make it readable at night in the dark. I already knew this from the description and bought knowing this.The sound is a noticeable Tick .. a clear ticking clock sound heard from several feet away ... but not what I would call excessively Loud .. .. but it is not silent nor very quiet .. I would not want this near my bed nor in a room where silence was enjoyed.Overall I am delighted .. It only arrived a few hours and I excitedly added the recommended AA Zinc Carbon battery and put out to enjoy ..so far keeping time wonderfully.

Super cute clock. You can hear it ever so faint at night. Doesn’t interrupt sleep. Keeps good time. Haven’t had to reset it at all and it’s been 6 months.

This clock is very whimsical in its design and has an Alice in wonderland feel regarding its oversized fob like handle - i was disappointed that the back grill was plastic at that price point

Vraiment très jolie, en avant comme en arrière. Le boîtier est tout en métal (devant, derrière, pattes) et la vitre de l'horloge est bombée. Garde l'heure juste et fait peu de bruit (un très léger tic tac). Une petite horloge de qualité qui s'offre très bien en cadeau.

Il prodotto è molto bello, è un buon pezzo di arredo shabby. Unuca nota negativa non è lavorato come anticato, ma semplicemente dipinto, quindi da vicino rende pochissimo, su una mensola a distanza dagli occhi invece sembra realmente chippy!

E' arrivato il prodotto descritto....il retro è in plastica ma va bene! fa un'ottima figura ed è piaciuto tanto! Per essere un prodotto proveniente dalla Gran Bretagna non ci ha messo molto! sono contenta dell'acquisto
