Yes, it is removeble back. Place the clock face down in one hand. With the other hand grip the rim of the back of the clock and turn to the left.

I was so SHOCKED by how tiny this clock is!! I read the reviews and saw the pictures but I still wasn’t prepared for how truly tiny it actually is. The clock is stunningly beautiful but VERY overpriced for a clock this size. It should only cost about $15, max. The exorbitant price is the reason I gave it only four stars. Based on looks alone I would’ve rated it five stars but felt I needed to deduct one star due to its size and cost, hence the four star rating. I am going to keep it though because I like it so well but I can see why it has a high rate of return.

I like how this clock is small to go on my dressing table. Not too flashy just right. It does take a regular battery and keeps time well. There is no ticking noise either as I have it in my bedroom. I listened for any noise and there is not one. Not sure why the other reviews say they can hear a noise. Love it and you will too.

This little clock is beautifully designed works with only 1 battery and is very quiet as the hands go around. I am very happy with my purchase- it makes a great gift too and was delivered in good condition through the shipping process.

Junk yet again from China! Sad it looked so nice but really junk. I need a clock so keeping it hut I cant recommend it for others. If I didn’t need something immediately I would return it.

I like the look, and it is metal, except for battery back. The back secures with magnets, which surprised me but worked ok. So far it is keeping time well and I can read the dial easily. The rhinestones are not very noticeable but that’s ok with me. It sits on my bathroom counter, reminding me to to stay on time.
