It helped a little but still hard to use camera, having to continually put my glasses on/off to see what I'm doing. It did bring it easier to focus the viewfinder, but I think I may need to go to a +3 diopter. We'll see if that works out better. With a little modification to the original eye piece I'm able to reattach the rubber eye piece, it just protrudes a little more (about 1/8"), but I can use it.

This is amazing! I have pretty poor eyes. I can take pictures WITHOUT my glasses! They come out sharp as a tack! Even with manual focus. My only complaint, now I have to figure out where to put my glasses while I take photographs; because I sure can't see without them!

This part mounted on my D7000 ok and adjusted the view finder focus.However, the DK-21 rubber eye cup that comes with the D7000 does not fit over this eyepiece.You need to get a DK-20 rubber eye cup to fit over this part to get back to the original function.

... irgendwie bin ich zu blöd die Augenmuschel draufzusetzen - ohne was wegzufeilen geht das nicht wirklich.Leider findet sich weder bei Nikon noch in irgendeinem Forum schlauer geworden - entweder benutzt niemand so ein Ding, oder niemand will die Augenmuschel wieder anbringen.WENN man sie denn draufbringt, steht sie einige Millimeter weiter vom Kameragehäuse ab, was mir ungünstig erscheint.Ich verzichte also auf die Korrekturlinse und lasse die Dioptrieneinstellung am Limit, in der Hoffnung daß meine Sehkraft sich nicht weiter ändert.

Wie schon andere Vorredner geschrieben haben, so fällt auch mein Urteil aus. Optisch voll i.O., aber mechanisch eine Fehlkonstruktion. Da Kamera und Korrekturlinse aus einem Hause (Nikon) stammen, hat wohl bei Nikon nie dieses Teil montiert ? Die Korrekturlinse passt einwandfrei an die Kamera, aber dann geht die Augenmuschel nicht mehr auf die Korrekturlinse. Also eine kleine Schlüsselfeile nehmen und den Aufnahmeschlitz für die Augenmuschel an der Korrekturlinse etwas auffeilen. Nun passt alles zusammen.

Es verhält sich ähnlich, wie bei den anderen hier angebotenen Linsen.Sie passt nicht, bzw. die Linse kann man schon ganz gut montieren, aber die Augenmuschel lässt sich absolut nicht montieren, keine Chance! Finde ich schon ziemlich übel vom Anbieter. :(Was allerdings funktioniert (deshalb 2 Sterne), ist, dass wenn man sich einen Drehmel mit einer dünnen Schleifscheibe schnappt, und die beiden Nuten an der Linse etwas breiter und ne Spur tiefer macht, kann man dann die Augenmuschel schlussendlich doch auf die Linse schieben.Das ausfräsen dauert 1-2 Min.Wenigstens habe ich jetzt ein absolut klares und scharfes Sucherbild und noch einiges an Dioptrin an Reserve. :)
