These glass tubes are really well made. I use them for a variety of science as well as craft projects. They're solid and there arent any defects or bad spots that I found. I was able to do some work using propane but you really need to use mapp gas to get them hot enough to work with. These were is nearly perfect this you could get.

The glass tubes arrived intact. (see pics) The packaging was a healthy dose of bubble wrap. At first, I was worried because the tubes were shipped from China and wrapped together, with the tubes touching each other. However, each arrived in healthy condition.For my purposes (making vacuum-sealed gasses) - they work great, but I suspect it's only a matter of statistics until a few arrive broken with this particular packaging method.
