15+ years ago I ordered this recommended motor to build a DIY concrete vibration machine. I mounted the motor on a piece of plywood, then mounted the plywood to an old used tire. I mix concrete, pour it into a concrete mold, the vibrate the mold, watching the bubbles come to the surface... So, all these years my vibration contraption worked. However, I left it outside by accident a few months ago and it stopped working. The motor is fine, but the switch is messed up. My fault. I was in a hurry, so I ordered another motor. I installed it and I'm back in business! You can go online and find the DIY Concrete Vibrator and build your own concrete vibration machine with this motor. Good luck!

Strong vibration on large table, it works very well for removing air from concrete and greatly helps in the compaction process.

I have tried 4 of the same unit, all 4 have cracked at the mounting holes. Weak material. Did a great job shaking the material, just didn’t hold up well. All 4 broke within days of using them.

Mounted on the bottom of a table I have resting on springs. Works like a champ.
