Fun sand for the grandkids to play with. I requested this yellow sand to go along with a couple other colors I bought. Also to have extra colors to go with the little play farm I have for themThis is kind of cool sand.It's moldable, shapeable, fun for making sand castles. It's like having perfect, wet, damp sand, at the beach. The kind you have to get just right, so it sticks together, properly. It can't be too wet or it will collapse. If it's too dry it won't stick together at all, so again it will collapse.This sand is just the right dampness, it sticks together just right. It's always the right amount of damp, or wet, so it's sticks just right, all the time. This makes it easy for kids to be able to make any kind of sand castles or design they want. Without having to hope their sand is the correct consistency. It's just right whenever they want to make a mold. No matter what it is. Any mold they have on hand.

I already own similar sands from other manufacturers: both known brands and knock-offs. This is not the worst sand I had. The texture is different from other brands, this sand is drier. It reminds me of dough, while others are closer to wet sand. It might be good because molding it and holding the shape is easier. Plus, there are fewer sandy bits left behind on your hands. But it also might be bad if you're used to another texture. My only complaint is the smell upon opening. It did not smell good, and this smell wore off only after several days. But rather than that, this is a fine toy.

Kids can play with this bag of sand indoors even if it rains, and parents do not fear making a mess. It is softer and stickier than regular sand, so it won't spill easily when the child plays with it. Many children like to play with sand; they touch and pinch the sand with their hands to improve their hand-eye coordination. They can also pinch out different shapes or use some molds to build castles or small animals, which is super fun.

Our kids loved this toy sand. They used some sand toys like a carving stick and molds they got a long time ago and spent a couple of hours playing with the sand in the house. We used a large cookie sheet on the kitchen table and let them go at it. By the end, they did have some of the sand scattered on the table around the cookie sheet, but it was easy to use my hand to brush it into a pile and put it all back on the cookie sheet. Then it all went back into the bag. It showed no signs of drying after being out for a long time. They had a blast with it. I'd definitely recommend it if it becomes available to purchase again. Right now, it says it's unavailable.

Feels a little more moist to the touch than the brand name Kinetic Sand, but this is the best off-brand sand we've had. It molds well and hasn't dried out, even after a couple weeks of sitting out in open air. Kids have a blast creating and destroying!

Awesome sand! I did expect there to be more since the word "bulk" was used in the listing. However small the bag of sand was it has been useful for a small sensory bin in my classroom. So while not a great value for the money, the product is well made.

The "NiToy 2.2Lbs Sand(Yellow) " is basically sandy playdough that leaves little sandy bits behind. To be fair, I'm not sure exactly what I expected, but I don't want sandy bits left on my hands. However, it doesn't leave much behind on nonporous surfaces, so that is a plus. I also wasn't a fan of the smell but it wasn't anything terrible. Overall this was a very "meh" item for me.**Note** I received this item at a reduced cost as part of the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my honest review. Vine products are not free, as their value is taxed as income. I review items based on if I had purchased them for the full list price, how I would feel about them, the things I would want to be made aware of, and whether or not I would be keeping the item based on those factors.

I got this for use in my senior high school classroom on days when the kids need a minute. When applying to college, paying for college, managing high-level courses, and doing all the activities and jobs and responsibilities become too much, every once in awhile they need to do something mindless, and a few bags of kinetic sand does the trick!
