At first I thought it was going to be a flop because the sand seemed hard but once you get it out of the packing and start to play it softens up quickly. Has a weird smell but nothing that would keep me from buying more! I bought it in green and blue and both were great.

It's just not kinetic sand unfortunately. My toddler really wanted red kinetic sand for Christmas which ingot but it was mixed with blue so as a quick last minute purchase I got this because it's just red but it's just not the same quality. I never should have opened it. I should have returned it to be honest.

I like to try generic. This one was definitely different than the name brand. If you like a lighter and fluffier sand than this is your product. It was quite a bit messier though in my opinion.

Sand has a bad smell and a strange texture for kinetic sand. Very hard sand.
