These balls are recommended for most typical pneumatic, hydraulic, or water applications. High speed centerless grinding combined with automatic gauging assures consistent part quality with close tolerances on both spherical and diametric dimensions. The resulting uniform finish ensures consistent sealing performance regardless of how the ball seats.

I am not exactly sure what these ball were meant for, but my 1920s treadle powered National - Eldredge Chain sewing machine uses one as a jam lock to prevent reverse operation of the treadle's drive wheel. While 10 is an extravagant number for for a single treadle machine, it is handy to have extras since the roll away easily when dropped and are easily lost. They seem well made and smoothly finished.

I bought these for a demonstration and laboratory for my high school physics class. They roll, they accelerate, the work. Not really sure why anyone would buy rubber balls, but I bought them along with several different diameter steel balls to recreate Galileo's experiments with acceleration on an inclined plane.
