After going through several blow-up pools that were a pain to repair, I was looking for something a little sturdier that might last 4 kids longer than a few weeks before deflating. I settled on this, but was a bit concerned about the sides staying up and that they would be tough for the 1.5-year-olds that are used to bouncy sides. But I didn't need to worry. This pool is really sturdy, stays up well, but is flexible enough to accommodate some wild toddlers. We've had it over a month and haven't had any need for repairs - no scratches, tears, etc. The kids love it, and even the 1.5-year-olds can get in and out on their own after some practice. It is really easy to set up, take down, move (without water), and store. The valve makes emptying easier, but our size is small enough you can lift it to dump it. Our HOA doesn't allow kiddie pools to stay up for "periods of time" (lame, I know), so this is a great option because it is pretty light weight, so we can empty it and throw it in the garage to dry before folding up.Really an excellent value for the cost. You might be paying a bit more than a blow up pool, but this is going to last a lot longer without need for replacement or repair.

This is my honest review of the pool. I waited about three months before reviewing this item. I bought the 4 XL and this pool is 100% durable. I have two large dogs that love to jump in the pool to fetch their balls. I also have multiple young grandchildren that use this pool almost on a daily basis. And three months of daily use this pool shows absolutely no wear and tear. I love that it comes with a drainage plug and is easy to fold up and just throw in a corner of the yard when I’m not using it. I do move it to different spots in the yard around every two days just so it doesn’t kill the grass underneath. After experimenting with different types of pools for the dogs to use in the summer, they never held up so I would buy this pool 100 times over. Even though this is a collapsible pool, the sides are 100% sturdy and has held up to the little ones sometimes sitting on the edges. The bottom of a pool is a really thick material that has held up to my dogs nails beautifully. I didn’t realize that this pool pool also came in 16 inch deep instead of 12 so next year I would like to buy that one but honestly, I can’t even justify it because this pool is still in such great condition. I don’t leave many reviews, but I feel strongly that this is 100% worth the price for durability.

My dogs loved their pool. Cleans easily, stores easily, easy set up. Very thick lining so their nails do not tear it.

It’s a great pool. Light and easy to move when empty. Size is perfect 72â€. Not having to inflate it is a huge bonus. Retains water extremely well and drains super well. Easy to rinse out too. Perfect for super hot summers when the dogs need to cool off or when we decide to have a hillbilly pool and bonfire in the summer. Don’t judge.

I got this pool because my daughters dog had a inflatable pool that tore open after just a week of use. I can't convince the dog not to put his paws on sides (he just won't cooperate) , so I got this replacement pool. The frame, which is the part that's most likely to tear from dog nails, is a hard plastic which is very sturdy. The liner is thick vinyl. I also like the drain valve on this pool, because you don't have to lift up a pool full of water to get the water out. It's a great pool for dogs. Oh yea... it also folds up flat, which makes it easier to store in the off season. Dog approved!

I wanted to say, its been a very hardy and durable pool for some rambunctious large breed dogs. It sits on sand, I’ve moved it around. It gets pretty scummy at times and its easy to clean. We have used it all summer every day!!!

Might have to come back at the end of the season to see how it does overall, BUT so far I’m thrilled! Every spring for the last 8 years I’ve bought two large plastic pools for my Aussies, this year those plastic pools have more then doubled in cost (where I live) $40 for two large plastic pools or $46 for something new. I decided to go with this and see how it goes, so far I feel it’s rather safe for children and they can put ALL their toys in it, while having the dog in there and still have tons of room to play. I ended up getting the cover as well, and that could handle my large goat and baby goat walking on it, trying to find the water. My aussies scratched in the bottom to get a ball and so far no holes, no problems at all. So easy to clean, it’s not slippery, dried fast (I live in the desert so not sure that says much). Can roll it up and take it everywhere. I’m really loving it so far! I’d definitely recommend.

This has survived the whole summer with 4 rough and tough dogs. Fits our 3 larger 100 lbs dogs easily, and their little sister/cousin. No punctures or leaks, it's made strong and lasts all of their rough play, digging in the water and stomping through it. These dogs destroy everything, and so far this pool is still holding up great. I love the side plug to drain it, which is easy to use. Give it a rinse before refilling, fold it up to store. Ours has remained outside in the heat and summer weather and been unaffected in any negative way. Material is thick and strong, highly recommend.

Just as advertised, easy to set up , fold , clean & drain. Good quality. We have large dogs and this pool holds up better than others we have purchased over the years. Works great to cool them down on a hot summer day. A definite must have!
