Update to this good review after 2 months of use or so- make sure you do not exceed the FILL LINE. If you do, pressure builds up inside and there can be a gasket leak. This is NOT a product fault; it is USER ERROR. I had this leakage happen a couple of times but now I am more careful and there are no problems! I use frozen fruit, and I think when it heats up during blending it expands. Here is my original review: My original Ninja Auto iQ "Nutri Ninja Pro" blade assembly was about 5 or 6 years old and had started to leak black goop on the drive side. I still have to clean out the hardened goop from the main body of the machine- I had not noticed that it was slowly deteriorating. As they say, "it didn't owe me anything", as I use it pretty much every day to make breakfast smoothies, and five years lifetime is great. This replacement is super sharp, fits perfectly, and after two weeks of use I am super glad that I got it. Also, this may be my imagination, but it seems like it screws onto the plastic cups easier than the old one, which I often had to try to not cross-thread. Very satisfied and I recommend it. Replace yours before the black goop leaks all over your counter and hardens in the machine and is a pain to clean.

The original piece broke after extensive use, so I decided to try this one from Amazon. I was initially skeptical about the brand, but it has pleasantly surprised me. It works just as well as the original. Highly recommend!

The blade didn't screw onto the cup properly so I followed advice from another review and replaced the gasket with my old one. That made it usable but I still had to push down on the cup to get the blender to run (there's a switch the teeth on the cup engage in the blender before it will start running). I also had the cup pop off the blades in the blender on two different occasions flooding the countertop with smoothie mix. And loud, I mean ear-ringing high pitched loud. After a few weeks a brown oily liquid came out on the fin side (this never went in dishwasher, only hand wash, if that matters). I stuck with this blade as long as I could and finally ordered a replacement directly from the blender manufacturer. It cost twice as much with shipping but haven't had a single issue for the past week.This was the 2nd off-brand blade I bought (1st was a different off-brand) and although both were usable I wish I had just paid extra for original. My experience was bad enough that I considered replacing the whole blender, now I'm glad I didn't. The internal fin p/n is 575KKUD450 but you can double check with their support if you're unsure. Different BL480 blenders use different blade types. Mine is the BL480D 30 DOB

I only gave it four stars just because I haven’t had it that long yet, it is doing a great job so far, i’m hoping it better than the previous ones I have bought. I will definitely update.

I ordered this as a replacement as the first one never seem to fit right, this one is a much nicer fit when attaching to the container. The construction of this lid is perfect and the top goes on without a fight or someone stronger to get the lid off the container. Much easier to use than the original piece. Cleans well with soap and water.

I wore out our old blender blade. It was leaking on and off, so it was time for a replacement. The old one was over 2 years old and was leaking through the bottom. It wasn't a simple gasket replacement in this instance. So, I ordered this replacement blade. It's just like the old one only new and does not leak. I recommend this replacement blade. It works great and I use it every day to make smoothies. I grind up frozen fruit, so it takes a beating. I highly recommend this replacement blade. Just make sure you purchase the correct one. I initially had ordered a different one and had to return it. It was the wrong size.

These new blades are great. Very sharp and perfect fit for my blender. You have to be very careful which blades you select and the description of this one was good.

Worked for about a year, 1-2 times a week. Noticed a few weeks ago it had gotten almost deafening using one of the blades. The Ninja one was still quiet but this one started getting significantly louder. Hand cleaning it the other day I noticed the blade assembly had a lot of slack in it. Then using a few hours later there was black and brown fluid leaking out of it. It appears the bearings corroded and went bad. Tried to clean them up and tried again but still had brown crude pouring out the bottom and you can hear grining when you manually spin the blades. Blades still worked great but inside I'm guessing not stainless steel and went bad. Worked great until then though.

Works well but the blades are not sharp. We usually use our blender for merely blending coffee with ice. Just have to run a bit extra to get decent smoothies.Machine has become louder after using it for a month but otherwise it works well and fits well too.^^^^The blade gasket became wobbly and started leaking. Needs to be pushed down harder to fit in properly. Barely used this blade for coffee blending and it still leaked. Seller never responded for replacement or repair even though the part was very well within 3 months warranty. Disappointed.

Parece que no es manufacturado por la misma marca, pero funciona súper bien. Tengo un par de meses con el y no ha fallado.TIP para usuarios: siempre laven solamente la parte de los blades, y no dejen nunca remojando.

After receiving the wrong parts twice from 2 separate sellers, I wasn't too hopeful, but I was happy to find it was the right 6 fin female blade. Works as it should but it got a crack in it after less than 1 year of use. It is a work horse and used daily, but I would have thought it would last a bit longer than that. The original blade lasted 4 years on the same schedule.
