I bought the white set. This is exactly what I wanted. Not sheer and not heavy. I wanted the light to penetrate the bathroom when they are closed yet have privacy at the same time. I use a clear, smallish to medium sized, $tree hair clip to tie them back. The clear clips are barely noticeable and do the job well. I never used the clear clips that came on the pkg with the brown clips that I wanted for my hair and now they work perfectly on the curtain. My window was only 33 inches tall and the curtains say 36 inches. However, once you load them onto the rod the length shortens and they are only about 1 inch to long to nestle into the window. When I use the clips they are the perfect length an just touch the sill. My guess is the curtain is 1 inch shorter and the narrow rod takes up a half inch, and clipping takes the curtain up another inch except on the furthest outer edges. So for my window it worked out perfectly. It does wrinkle just a tad on the sill but they wrinkle does not crease in when they are closed which is only about 6-8 hrs at night. I had to install these on the inside of the window as the window literally sits against the corner of wall and an over the window rod was impossible. The window was only 23 inches wide and NO stores around had a small rod which normally cost $1.99 and amazon's cheapest was $12 so I bought a 49 cent 2 piece holder (was a pack of 4 sets but only needed one set) and a 59 cent dowel rod for the curtain rod at hobby lobby and just painted the dowel white like my fixtures and curtain. The effect was perfect. the cost was very reasonable. So, NOT sheer enough to see through but thick enough for privacy. You probably could see a faint shadow to only know if someone was there at night if walking outside. This is a window on the back of the house with a privacy fence so it was not a concern for me. I would get something a tad bit thicker OR a darker color to eliminate shadow from the outside view if on the front of a house.

I bought these for our kitchen, which is on the south side of our house and, thus, very sunny. We didn't buy them to keep the sun out; just to keep it from blinding us at certain times of the day. These curtains are very good quality for the money (i.e., straight stitching without a lot of hanging/loose threads, etc). They are made of a soft material that is pleasing to the touch. When the sun comes in and the curtains are closed, they kind of cast a warm yellow color over the room. I really like this, but I guess others might not. My two complaints about them are that they are so light weight that my ceiling fan blows them around on the curtain rod, such as opening them when I do not want them opened. I have to keep them in place using an office clip. Additionally, for much the same reason, it's hard to find curtain ties that look nice and work for them. I have the magnetic ones and I have to wrap those three times to even come close to tying these back or into a bunch. It ends up looking rather awkward. Nevertheless, I do recommend these, especially due to the quality for the price.Note that these curtains are a little darker in color (more mustard) than in my photos but also more vibrant.

The curtains are thin, but pretty. They only sent the two panels and not the valance. I can't return bc I only just opened the package a few days ago, due to kitchen remodel. Such disappointment.

I purchased these for a different look in my bathroom. I liked the light weight of the curtains and the transparency. The curtains allow a lot of natural light in. The quality is nice for the prices. When these curtains arrived, they were a bit wrinkled but after hanging them I have not had to iron or steam them. The versatility is great. I have changed my bathroom and the curating match. The appearance of the curtains is easy to match with different styles.

Beautiful colour that gives positive energy in the kitchen. The curtains are not particularly sheer, though, which is good for privacy.
