** update: even though the item I received was wrong the seller reached out and was very kind to refund my money. They have wonderful customer service. The item I received was just the hooded holder which is well made.I ordered this kit and only received 1 part of it. Thought it was a fluke so I reordered it again and it still came missing almost all the parts. I only received the bird feeder cover.

This is nice and it's decently easy to figure out the assembly, though admittedly I had to have my son's help to get it right. It looked like a great spot for my son's parakeets to have their fresh snacks, like fruit. They haven't used it at all, though, no matter how we set it up. It's a nice size and quality, though.

No instructions were provided. I had to look at the picture online to see how to put it together. Also the food bowl is really small and super heavy porcelain. While it is sturdy, it weighs down on the latches.Using it as a bird bath now and its pretty decent.

I got this for my cockatiel, not realizing that it's actually sized for a parakeet or budgie. I'm properly bummed about this but it's entirely my fault, really, so I'm not taking any stars off for that. I had no problem with assembling it at all, but trying to get it installed on the bird cage made me wish I had three or four hands. If you've got a willing assistant nearby, use them!I'm going to hold onto this because it really is a nice bird food dish and seems like it'd be easy to clean, just in case I get some smaller birds in the future. But, definitely, this is way too small for cockatiels!
