This sign is perfect for us. We both work from home, and we have a chihuahua who barks his head off when the doorbell rings. (That’s the only time he uses his ear-piercing yappy bark. He really is the bestest boi ever.) if only people would read the damn thing before they ring our stupid doorbell, our little corner of the world would be a better place.Sign is made of sturdy wood. Not at all flimsy.Easy to add the string to the sign so you can hang it up.The text color works well with the wood color of the sign. Easy to read.

The sign is good quality. I like the slightly humorous approach combined with the clear requests. Sadly, my UPS driver seems to ignore/take offense to the sign, but that's another matter.

I should have read the prior reviews (hits own forehead causing deserved slapping sound).This is directly from their front page description, "This wooden wall sign is made of natural solid wood"Ron Howard voice: "It was not."This is just a piece of interior decoration made from a particle board substrate. The "painted" side is a thin veneer that is glued on. Which is all fine and good for a cheap piece of interior decoration - but the whole "solid wood" descriptor really grinds my solicitation gears.So now I have three options:1) Return the sign (likely)2) DIY a protective holder (clear vinyl that will dull and cloud after a few weeks of UV exposure?)3) Hang it up and let the universe do what it will. If you love something, set it outside to decompose on your front porch. If it comes back to you water-logged and crumbling into pieces, was it meant to be?Moral of the story: If you are looking for a sign that can withstand being outside in the elements - keep on searching, cowboy. This ain't it.
