We have two Bassett hounds so walking them with two leashes was a nightmare. This makes it so much easier one of our dogs is 67 lbs and the other is 40 and it holds them with no problems. We have never had a problem with it tangling and it is very sturdy and they are pullers when they catch a scent. No heavier than a regular nylon dog collar

This splitter is very functionable for walking two dogs on one leash, getting the dogs to cooperate is another thing if you can give it time to get it down, it will work like a charm and make life easier.

While I was waiting for this to be delivered I bought a similar one in a pet shop who like pets at home sold none that where adjustable meaning unless you have a pair of 100lb plus dogs you need to hold the lead really high or tie knots in the Splitter shorten it.When my STGOOD arrived i needed adjust it to shortish setting and worked fine with enough gap between the Dogs necks and heads.If have a pair of small dogs you night find this Splitter far to long
