Available in sets of 2 (Sx2) or 5 (Sx5) including screws and a tool-free mounting system that can help to reduce both turbulence noise and performance losses, Noctua’s NA-FG1-12 are premium grade 120mm fan grills for the highest demands in acoustic optimisation and ease of installation. Thanks to an offset design with round struts, the NA-FG1 guards offer excellent protection with minimal impact on the fan’s acoustics and flow rate. The included tool-free push-pin mounting system not only makes installation a breeze, even if the fans are already installed in a PC system, it also introduces an additional 5mm offset in order to achieve even lower influx turbulence, further improved running smoothness and better airflow performance. Last but not least, the high-quality matte black finish and the Noctua logo at the centre make the NA-FG1 grills a visual testament to Noctua’s renowned premium quality.
Reliable protection
Thanks to their densely spaced, sturdy steel ribs, Noctua’s NA-FG1 series fan grills offer excellent protection and reliably prevent you from accidentally touching the running fan or cables from being pushed into the impeller.
Excellent acoustics, high airflow
While flat fan grills or fan guards with sharp edges can create unpleasant, high-pitched turbulence noises and often also reduce airflow significantly, Noctua’s NA-FG1 units use an offset design with rounded struts in order to ensure that the impact on fan acoustics and performance is as low as possible.
Tool-free push-pin mounting
The NA-FG1 sets include a proprietary push-pin mounting system that makes installing the grills a breeze: Push the rubber plugs into the fan’s mounting holes, put on the grill and fix it by pushing in the plastic pins. No screwdriver or other tools required!
Offset mounting for extra quietness and better performance
The supplied push-pins make it possible to install the grills 5mm offset from the fan. This extra spacing helps to further improve acoustics and airflow by reducing influx turbulence. In practice, this means that fans can run noticeably quieter and more efficient when the grills are fixed using the push-pins instead of screws. In case there isn’t enough space for the 5mm offset, the push-pins can be shortened using a cutter knife or scissors.

Nice finish - very clean, almost imperceptible welds. Tool-free Push-pin mounting is pretty slick and works well. Instructions on outside of the box are very clear. Package in a very nice solid box in individual envelopes - perfect delivery!

I am thrilled with the Noctua NA-FG1-12 fan grills! These grills add a sleek, professional look to my setup without adding bulk. The grills are a bit pricey but they work well and basic installation using the grommets and plastic pins or the screws is easy.Be advised that if you're clipping your fan to a Noctua (or other) radiator, the installation is a little different: Grills go on either with or without the grommets but no screws or pins are used. The fan clips hold it all together. It's not difficult to do but it took a couple emails to Noctua to figure out -- there was no mention of it in the installation instructions.

Bought to keep the cables out of my bottom-mounted fan in a SFFPC. I was a bit worried with the size of the grates and my using thin cables that they may find their way into the fan anyway, but it's worked great.

Was having a little bit of trouble getting AIO tubing out of the way and not hit one of the top fans in a new build. Ordered these primarily so they don't hit the fan blades, assuming I'd just screw them into the fan and add a couple millimeters of clearance, but inside the box was a rubber mounting method that also added some extra clearance! Should help the fan move a little bit more air. They even look great with the redux fan color!

I have built 4 or 5 computers. Each time I did not put fan grills on the fans that are more closely located to cables. This time I decided to make the investment and am so glad I did. With each build, the number of items in the PC Case and the size of each seems to increase which increases the opportunity for a fan to be affected by a cable in close proximity. I installed a Noctua 120mm dual fan CPU cooler and that tipped me in favor of making the purchase. Glad I did.

Solid fan grill, comes with 2 in the pack. You can customize how elevated you want them off of your fan though as far as I know that change you make is permanent as you are clipping the piece that separate the grill from the fan.
