The NF-A14x25 G2 PWM Sx2-PP is a set of two NF-A14x25 G2 PWM square-frame 140mm fans that are offset in speed, which can be beneficial in push-pull operation as well as in situations where two fans are operating side by side, such as in case cooling applications or on 280mm water cooling radiators. When two fans are running at almost the same, constant speed in a push-pull configuration or, albeit to a lesser extent, side by side, their acoustic interaction can lead to undesirable harmonic phenomena such as intermittent vibrations or periodic humming due to interference, which can be heard as beat frequencies. Therefore, the two NF-A14x25 G2 PWM fans contained in the Sx2-PP set are slightly offset in speed (+/- ~25rpm) in order to avoid such phenomena. This fine-tuning is made possible by the fans’ novel etaPERF motor and its NE-FD6 driver IC that achieves extremely precise speed control and, thanks to its SupraTorque feature, can leverage extra torque headroom to keep the exact desired speed even when working against significant flow resistance such as on water cooling radiators and heatsinks. With one fan running ~25rpm slower (PPA) and one ~25rpm faster (PPB), the overall cooling performance can be kept the same while efficiently preventing intermittent vibrations or periodic humming. Since the perception of beat frequencies can vary depending on psychoacoustic preferences, users can easily further optimise acoustics by slowing the PPA fan down a little more through PWM control or the supplied Low-Noise-Adaptor, which will result in an even smoother sound signature due to the increased offset.
Dual fan set for push-pull and side-by-side usage
Bundling two NF-A14x25 G2 PWM fans that are speed-offset by +/- ~25rpm in order to avoid undesired acoustic interaction phenomena, the Sx2-PP set is the ideal choice for push-pull configurations as well as situations where two fans are operating side by side such as on 280mm radiators or in typical case cooling applications.
Progressive-Bend impeller
The NF-A14x25 G2 features a unique Progressive-Bend impeller with Flow Acceleration Channels and winglets. Its nine blades are swept backwards close to the hub and progressively bent forward further out. Working in tandem with the Centrifugal Turbulator hub, this design not only helps to push more air towards the outer blade areas where efficiency is higher but also assures maximum lift and near uniform loading across the entire blade span.
SSO2 Bearing
The NF-A14x25 G2 features the further optimised second generation of Noctua's renowned, time-tested SSO bearing. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axis to provide even better stabilisation, precision and durability.
Ultra-tight tip clearance
The NF-A14x25 G2 has a record tight tip clearance (distance between the blade tips and the inside of the frame) of only 0.7mm. This highly ambitious design sets a new benchmark for 140mm fans and helps the NF-A14x25 G2 to work more efficiently against back pressure, such as on heatsinks or radiators, by reducing leak flows through the gap between impeller and frame.

The gimmick here is that offsetting fan speeds prevents resonance and therefore annoying fan noise. I'm not sure how big of a problem that really is, but you might as well save on packaging if you need multiple fans. The main complaint I have is with the silicone screw alternatives: on my case, they stick out too far from the fan, preventing me from closing the front panel without popping a fan out. So, basic screws for me.These replaced a bunch of iPPC 3000s and they work just as well for my build while being way quieter. When Noctua tells you that you don't need their "industrial" line, they mean it.

I absolutely love the look, quality, sound and speed of noctua fans. Excellent choice for a NAS build that's on 24/7. Gonna get a Noctua CPU cooler next

Silence is golden is what these fans are. Put these on a 280 AIO inside a SFF case and with all the mesh around the case the 2 Noctua A14 G2's are cooling and bringing in fresh air through out the case while being so quiet. Seriously I've tried all the other good fans but these are the best fan bearings in the business. No weird noises in any of the rpm ranges, a lot of fans out there have this problem. 10 years of waiting is worth it!

I replaced my Lian Li AL140v2 fans with the Noctua A14x25 G2 fans, and the difference is significant. Not only are the Noctua fans quieter, they also blow far more air into my case as front intakes. I highly recommend them because you're not just buying for the fans, you also buy their top tier customer support.

One fan goes fast, the other goes slow. I measured a 50rpm delta just as the product literature describes. Works great!

Very nice upgrade keeping my 9 9900x and 3800 gtx very cool and quiet while video editing. I installed with the vibration reducing silicon pegs included.

E' il massimo che si trova in commercio, ma si fanno anche pagare bene. Spostano tanta aria facendo tanto meno rumore delle arctic (da 8 euro l'una) che avevo prima. Poi quando ho letto recensioni di persone che "dopo 15 anni le Noctua sono ancora li' " ... allora mi sono deciso a spendere.

If you're buying Noctua you should know what the premium is for, a well researched and designed product that goes beyond the typical competition.I've used these for case fans with the rubber gaskets. Sometimes I open the case just to check they are even spinning because I can't hear them (configured for low rpm).

Si quieres tener lo mejor y que sea sin lucecitas, éstos son los mejores ventiladores.No quiero refrigeración lÃquida, no tenÃa otra opción para tener la máxima potencia siendo silenciosos y sin tener que poner los ventiladores al máximo ya que no es necesario.QuerÃa el mayor flujo de aire con carga (gaming sobre todo) pero con los ventiladores al 50% como mucho para evitar que parezcan un avión, jaja. Asà el procesador y la gráfica los mantengo más frescos.Es una gran inversión pero con una buena torre tienes ya los componentes para muchÃsimos años. Cuanto menos temperatura tengas, mejor trabaja todo sin que parezca el ordenador una freidora. Mucha gente compra componentes caros sin pensar bien primero en cómo va a ser la ventilación y es un error.Noctua es calidad y lleva muchos años conmigo sin defraudarme. No necesito que sean RGB para nada ya que lo que quiero es ventilación EXTREMA y que sean silenciosos. Hay gente a la que no le gustan los colores marrones pero a mà me encantan ya que conozco de sobra su rendimiento.Aun poniéndolos al máximo, claro que suenan algo porque es lógico con ese tamaño a 1500rpm. Pero la suavidad es lo importante en comparación con otras marcas.Recomiendo su compra sin ninguna duda.Noctua 4Ever...
