I purchased this because of the claim of 72 lb of holding power. It does not come anywhere near that. It is probably about half of that. (if I can find a good way to measure it I will update this review) Because of the misrepresentation it deserves one star. However, it is a great little (and I do mean little) base magnet for holding small things and the price is reasonable. Consequently, I gave it two stars. If you are looking for a small base magnet with good holding power for it's size, this is for you. I might even buy more of them. If they advertised the actual holding power, I would be willing to give it a lot more stars.
