Purchased these for my stairs. The reviews that say they don’t stick are certainly right. They don’t really ‘stick’, it’s more like they feel tacky. I just put down some rug tape at the lip of each stair tread. I can see someone not wanting to do that, but I wasn’t taking slipping chances. Some of the pieces were dyed lighter than the others, but I just took them out of the rotation. Easy enough because they provide more than enough for my stairs and a few extras. Easy to clean: I just threw them in the shower, rinsed them off and hung them to dry. The price was low, so all in all I’m pleased. They’re attractive and inexpensive. Works for me.

I was nervous about ordering them. I wanted to get something that looked good, would help my aging animals up the stairs, and wouldn't fall apart or slip off with a misstep. They look great, they stay amazingly well on the steps, and it helps my pets go up and down the stairs. It also really helps with the noise too, that wasn't something i was looking for but definitely welcomed.

After my 5 year old took a fall down the stairs (because socks on hardwood), I immediately purchased something to stop this from ever happening again. I went with these because they were less expensive than others but also look nice.A few notes that I don't love but not worth replacing:- they're not black like they look in the pictures. They're a gray color with an almost green undertone.- the backs are truly terrible. The plastic is super hard to pull off. I rolled them and pulled from the center but could still not get it all off and it was a million pieces of clingy plastic. But the "adhesive" on them is also barely sticky so I ended up leaving the plastic on most of them. USE CARPET TAPE. I have zero confidence that the adhesive would do much of anything so thankfully I already had carpet tape and used that. And then I glued the corners down.All in all, they'll serve their purpose and look nice, but definitely get carpet tape to stick them down.

These are simply great and everything they were said to be in the description. They off gas very little odor, adhere great and stay in place. The colors are beautiful, the fit is perfect and all I had to do was dust my steps and lay them down. These are perfect for my eclectic decor.

They pick up easy but stay in place where I put them without slipping any at all. They look nice but would love to see more options for colors/designs. For the price, can’t beat it! The last one I bought from another company were not only expensive but got stuck to my steps & I had to scrape, wash & use a hard brush to scrub/soak all the stuff of of my wooden steps. So, needless to say; I’m quite pleased to not have to go thru that again. I have dogs (one big & 2 small) & they haven’t slipped at all for them either. I’m content & hope they last for a good, long while 😉

Beautiful but it doesn’t stick. Theres no adhesive. I had to buy double sided tape.

These mats match my black stairway perfectly. The thickness muffles the steps nicely. Non slip.
