Tips to install firmly:

I've had bad experiences with other bathtub mats -- they either weren't easy to clean, were uncomfortable, or didn't stay in one place.This one is reasonably high quality from my experiences with it so far. It doesn't seem to mildew, and definitely makes standing in the shower more comfortable. Not a whole lot else to expect from something like this.One thing of note though: it does *not* stick right away. You should expect that of anything with suction cups, but you'll want to put a small bit of water in (enough to make the bottom of the tub/shower wet) before setting this thing down, then press down on it first before stepping onto it so you can make sure it is firmly in place.

This is an excellent bath mat. I purchased it for my mom who just had knee replacement surgery to use when taking a shower since she has a higher fall risk right now. It is very cushiony, but the holes let the water go through quickly so that prevents the top from being slippery at all. It is a great thickness for comfort, and the grippers underneath work great. I highly recommend and will be purchasing a second one for my own home. Great value! It laid flat almost immediately. We haven't used it much so I can't comment on durability yet. Edited to add that if your existing bathtub has some texture for slip resistance (my mom's had very slight texture), this mat will move with enough force since the texture prevents the suction cups from fully sealing. I have not tried this on a fully flat surface, but in this shower I noticed that it slowly migrated in the bathtub over the course of several showers.

This mat works well for my toddler for bath time. As a matter of fact, I changed mats, and had to go back to this one for my toddler to get in the tub again. So it's great for sensory kids, but it seems the hold absorb atract mildew quickly, compared to any previous mat it had. Hence the reason I was going to change out my mat. Over all it sticks fine, fits well, and is soft, comfortable, looks nice. I just wished it was better resistant to mildew.

Had to find a secure fit mat for this new shower floor that was dangerously slippery. We are in our 80s and could not risk a fall. This mat is perfect. No slipping at all any time. Feels really secure under foot. All the holes allow the water to flow freely away.

I bought the grey one in Sept. 2022 and am reviewing it in Dec. 2023. This mat has almost certainly saved my daughter from probable head injuries. I forgot to put it down ONE time for my toddlers bath time and she slipped and got a little banged up so I will forever feel guilty. On the plus side, she now helps me to lay it down by firmly stomping all over it to make the suction cups stick to the bottom of the tub as she remembers falling and doesn't want to get hurt again. It covers the majority of the tub surface and is soft and squishy to sit/stand on. My daughter loves bubbles and colored foam soap, so it gets pretty slick in the bath and there's usually a lot of residue left behind when the water is drained. I rinse the mat and use stick-on hooks on the wall to hang it after every use, and it's held up beautifully with minimal additional cleaning necessary. I have well water with a sizeable iron content, and haven't noticed any build-up of orange iron spots whatsoever. What prompted me to leave this review was my husband bringing me his bath mat just now to ask me to add a new one to the shopping list, which in comparison is from the dollar store and is covered in streaky iron spots and generally disgusting (he's left on his own to clean his shower and peripherals). This difference between the two mats is stark and enlightening. This mat is truly wonderful and a great buy.Since my daughter and I share the bathtub/shower combo, I tried using this bath mat a few times while showering and while it's super comfortable and feels very safe to stand on, I don't like using it as much because my hair gets clogged up in all the little holes and it takes forever to get them out. I saw someone else mentioned that issue in reference to buying this to use when bathing their dog and had to laugh at myself LOL. Since I hate taking the time to clean out my hairs, I just risk my life every time I use conditioner instead :) I still give it 5 stars on the ability to clean, as I think it's more about cleaning soap scum, mildew, etc. than unwrapping hairs from the holes and suction cups. One more note on clean-ability: this is machine washable. I have zero issues doing this, but I don't do it all the time. I've probably only machine washed it about 6 times in the 15 months of owning it and the rest of the time I use a bathroom all-purpose cleaner and scrub brush. I like the scrubbing bubbles foam spray-on cleaner for the underside of this mat for those times in-between deep cleans, as it gets in the nooks and crannies and I just have to rinse the foam out.

Excellent suction & traction - non-skid on bathtub surface. Water flow-through is very good due to large number of openings. Reasonable standing comfort - but not "extra soft" as indicated on product description. Nice contemporary design & color. Very good quality & price point.

It’s ok. I though it would be softer and not look like a typical cheep bath mat. It says extra soft . It’s not. I think it’s expensive but not impressive . I wanted it to be soft for my toddler in the bath. It’s not extra soft.

Works great. Fits my standard sized tub. I followed instructions and let it sit flat for 24hrs before trying to use it.Those chewed up ends are not how it arrived - it arrived perfectly intact. Before those 24 hours passed, it was too unfamiliar and fun-shaped for my cat to resist. It kept curling at the edges and well... we just can’t have nice things!! :) she made a game of biting at it and seems to enjoy the pop sound as the mat comes up.Now it is perfectly flat and stays put. Comfy to stand on. Safe in the tub. Colour is exactly as it is shown online - the lighting in my bathroom dulls it in my pic a little.Hope it’s non-toxic because chewing on this thing is fast becoming one of my little monster’s favourite games :P

We use this in a baby bath and it worked well, it was just the right size, doesn't slip and so far works well. Good value for money as well.

Finally found the one. After using lots and lots of bath mats with some sizes too small or and have to be in one spot and slippery and slides or and can't wash properly the anti slip wares off, staines or just settling what I could get, this one is perfect solution and the way I expect a bathmat should be. I feel perfectly safe and children specially (I do not have to give bath mat safety rules and warnings. It cleans so fast (it is not like the ones with holes that you have to clean every edge and crease but can be wiped down like a flat surface ones or twice) and is so comfortable on the feet. Shared with all my friends and family!! What it says non slip and extra soft it is really true plus cleans well and doesn't stain or discolor or fade. I normally don't write long reviews but this one I have to tell to those who are frustrated the way I was and I would like this product to be made again and it won't be like other products that are good and then you can't find anymore. I have to give 5star only for there is no plus.
