Well made and sturdy. Held 2 c broccoli and cooked easiely. I like it alot. Con is that the lid does snap on or is tight and my microwave is higher up and trying to take out without lid coming loose was alittle worrisome of me getting burned especially since I'm not 6ft. I had to use to clothes to grab by handles. Knowing thus just be careful it's not a good enough reason to not buy. Works great

You know how it is when a brand changes a favorite product. We have used a version of this product for years and trust the brand, butthe design changed and we were unsure about it.Purchased anyway and guess what? It is better now. Lid stays on better. Capacity is increased. Still has the bottom tray which keeps veggies crisp by isolating the water from the vegetables.Wish it was offered in white, but it's not a deal killer.Recommend.No regrets.

Surprisingly, this only requires 1/4 cup of water. I usually run for about 4 minutes but I am at 6000 ft so it may be different down lower. Very consistent results. We use only frozen vegetables in the steamer.

I have been looking for a good microwave steamer for a long time. Unfortunately, this one does not make the cut! It is too narrow so taller items (eg. broccoli) don't let the top close. And even items that fit in the steamer, most importantly the lid does not seal. I will continue my search!

Perfect asparagus every time. However, I tried to use it as a general microwave dish and put something cheesy in it. The cheese stuck and left some residue that won't come out. Despite the minor cleaning issue, it works well and I still use it often.

This is what I needed for quick microwave cooking of fresh vegetables, with just a little water in the bottom. Easy to clean too. I am satisfied with this steamer.

I bought this to make fish from Costco. It’s too big for a piece of fish. The lid doesn’t fit very securely for it to really steam correctly. There’s a plastic piece that sits in it that’s supposed to keep it off the bottom and I’m not sure it really serves its purpose. It’s too flimsy and not quite as good as the nordicware I was used too. I’m still looking for something as sturdy as the nordicware bowl and lids I have but smaller for a piece of fish.

Length is good but it's just too shallow. Can't close the lids when I try to steam Broccoli heads or buns. It's only good if you want to steam some asparagus.
