I like this because you can peel ALOT of garlic. Rolling garlic will produce sticky juice. Then it's hard to keep peeling them if using a tube. With a flat sheet, you can rinse and dry it so you can keep peeling garlic. I put similar sized cloves together. Easy peasy. Sometimes I make raw kimchi, and I need a lot of freshly peeled garlic. Otherwise, using once is fine for average usage. So easy to clean. Works like a charm.

Who'da thunk something this simple would work so well? Peeling garlic is a pain. Zapping in microwave can give you a flaccid chunk that doesn't mince well. Put your garlic clove on the mat, roll it around and voila! It goes through dishwasher too!

I already have one that I purchased about six years ago, and it works great. I don’t really use it to peal garlic, but to open jars and things hard to open, and it works wonders.I like it so much that I purchase another one, but it’s thinner than the one I have, same manufacturer but isn't the same quality now, so it gets 3 points from me.

I received one of these mats years ago as a gift. As garlic lovers we use it a lot, and so it finally needed replacement. So glad I found it!! The cylinder shaped versions are OK but they only work on one clove at a time and the skins get caught inside. This form easily accommodates different size cloves, is more adaptable to handle multiple cloves and is much easier to clean.

This is more of a pain to use than other garlic peelers. I go thru a lot of garlic (in our house garlic could be considered a vegetable, so I have a lot of experience with garlic. Pass on this one, you can get a better one. I threw the labeling away before using, otherwise I would have returned. It’s too expensive and took a long time to arrive.
