Your cart is empty.The Polaris IT-4 2-Port Single-Side Connector provides the simplest solution for forming a secure connection between two conductors in applications including cable trays, panel boards, ducts, raceways or troughs. Sized for 4 to 14 AWG wires and rated for 600V, this pre-insulated connector comes pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor and installs faster than traditional uninsulated connector options using just a hex key and torque wrench. The aluminum alloy body is wrapped in high-dielectric strength plastisol insulation, which is ergonomically molded to offer a comfortable grip, in addition to being resistant to abrasion, chemicals and UV rays. All-in-one design saves time and supplies on each job by eliminating the need for cover and taping; simply brush the conductors clean, strip back their insulation, insert one conductor into each port and secure the covered pressure screws. The IT-4 connector is rated for a 90 degrees Celsius operating temperature and dual rated for use with copper and/or aluminum cables, up to max AMP ratings of 95 and 75 respectively. Polaris pre-insulated connectors are available in a range of port numbers and configurations to fit the needs of any job, including UL-listed parallel configurations. I'm not sure how these compare to other brand/models, but they worked great for my needs. Easy to get the wire in and tighten it down. Held solidly. Much more secure then a wire nut. Expensive but for a big heavy wire it is what it is.

These are described as single sided connectors, however they are 2 sided connectors.Not that big of a deal however if you are making connections in a small motor peckerhead, it can get a little tight.Otherwise, good quality and work wellThe only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of the description problem.

I just used these in a high-power EV Charger installation using 6-gage wire. The Inspector was impressed that I used the best connectors. The EV Charger is working great.The price for these Polaris connectors on Amazon was the best I could find anywhere.

I thought these are single-side it4 but there itd4 dual sided or offset sided . It's ok I'll just have less room in a 4 inch box and tape those caps I don't want them to fall off
