Doesn’t fit on ace of spades bottle. Works for 1942 bottle but stem doesn’t reach to the end of the bottle. Works best with wine bottles. Doesn’t fit champagne bottles well though.

I have made my own wine bottle torches for years and this little kit with extra longs wicks and brass fittings with rubber washers are the best thing I had ever found that works PERFECT ! They should make metal caps with chains to include with the kit.

Unfortunately these suck. I’ve tried everything, this last wick soaked for weeks before we lit it, was nice and wet with lamp oil and yet it still goes out. We’ve made several torches and all of them have a terrible flame. They just don’t work- wouldn’t buy again

I love theses wicks. I use them in some of my empty bourbon bottle. Looks cool and I can smoke my stogies big free. I highly recommend them I put tiki fluid in the bottle then the wick. AWESOME!!!

I bought the kit. The brass inserts fit the wine bottle very well, and sadly, that the most positive thing to say about this.The wicks are a little narrow, making it easy to insert, but enough of a gap that when tipped over will spill a lot of fuel. I let it soak for 24hrs. I lit it and the flame was going well for about 30 seconds. After that, the flame died out really quick and self-extinguished after a minute or two. I was very disappointed.I have read other comments that they work. I’m not sure if the seller changed manufacturers and bought different wicks, but the ones I have do not work.

he tratado de usar estas mechas, sin mucho exito. Duran 20-30 minutos encendidas y despues se van apagando, he utilizado 2 marcas distintas de combustible, pero nada, me parece que el material no es el adecuado para mantener el flujo de combustible, al final un hilo de de algodon grueso hace mejor el trabajo.
