I bought these for an object lesson about us all being under construction - and while they are great for adults and older children, I would not get these for any child that might put them in their mouths. They are cute and sturdy though, and just what I wanted.

I homeschool and make my own math games and these were used for playing pieces. They are also used as regular traffic cones when my son plays with cars.
