I've used this gate handle several times without an issue. The Hex issue on the screw is a no biggie, just use a Hex drill bit. They sell Hex screw bit sets on Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot or your local hardware store. They fit all drills. Phillips heads screws work just fine as well. Just match the Hex screw with a Phillips screw for length, etc. at a local hardware store. My only issue with this handle is there were no screws included in the 4th gate handle package. I got skunked due to poor quality control hence minus 1 star. I used 4 Phillips black screws, and it worked fine. QC people!! Get your act together.

Great handle. Looks great. Nice quality. Comes with screws. Make sure you have torx bits since the screws are torx.
