Make a tailgate bench and original thought was to put the bench outside and keep water off the top of the 4x4 and didn't want it sitting in water either. These fit perfect and went right on. They are nice and thick and durable. They have notches to keep them in place so no screws needed. Didn't end up putting the bench outside but very happy with them and looks real good too!

We bought these to cap our deck posts when installing a rack around the deck to hank lights from. We drilled a hole in the middle of the cap, and then metal poles were inserted through the hole into the tops of the wood posts and then caulked with black silicone. (Pipes are black too.) The metal is thin enough to work with but not malleable. The finish is matte black. Recommended whether you plan to adapt as we did or not.

Snug fit but easy to get on, don’t need to use screws if you don’t want to. There is small sharp pieces of metal that will go into the wood so you don’t need to use screws to attach it unless you prefer the look with screws.

good price and quality but there are holes for screws but those aren't included.
