I have a Dell Inspiron 3880 that I purchased in 2021. It came with a 1TB HDD. I could have ordered it with an SSD as well as the HDD, but the only size they offered was a 256GB and they wanted too much for it. It always booted up slowly from day 1. Recently, I purchased a Samsung 970 EVO 2TB SSD here from Amazon at an amazing price and Man, does it ever boot fast, just 2 minutes compared to the 10 minutes from the HDD. But it fit in the M.2 slot at an angle because Dell didn't provide a riser. I was concerned that it wasn't getting enough airflow and would overheat. That's why I purchased this riser kit, and found a riser and screw combination that now has the SSD sitting straight and level. Since Dell has a proprietary motherboard, not just any riser would screw into the SSD hole. This kit had a variety of risers and screws so I was able to find the right combination to install the SSD properly and securely.I would recommend this kit to anyone who has a motherboard with non-standard screw points for an M.2 SSD.

I lost my stand screw thingy for my asus motherboard and thankfully got recommended this by a youtuber. It fits the asus tuff motherboards thankfully.

This is all on me... It is a nice kit... but the posts and screws were the wrong size screws for my motherboard... I did not think that there may be different sizes. I will keep the kit around in my computer spare parts, but had to order screws from another place that supported my motherboard.

I had some old systems in need of hard drive upgrades. Unfortunately I lost the original mounting screws. This set gave me a variety of options to choose from and I'm glad to have them on hand now. Highly recommended.
