Don’t let the size fool you! The Marine-V Series Amplifiers packs a massive punch when it comes to power. Here at NVX, we know how important space is when installing anything aftermarket. The Marine-V Series Amps are capable of being installed anywhere and everywhere in your vehicle. Whether you are installing it in your motorcycle, UTVs, ATVs, boats, and golf carts, the Marine-V Series Amps will take up little space. Amplifiers of similar size produce half the power output compared to our amplifiers. The MVPA2 and MVPA4 amps both boast an output of 600W RMS, while the slightly larger MVPA6 boast an output of 900W RMS.

The Marine-V Series Amplifiers are made for the outdoors. Many amplifiers on the market claim to be meant for boats, motorcycles, and other outdoor vehicles, but lack any real measures to protect their amps. Our marine amplifiers are ready for the elements and have an IPX67 waterproof rating. This is due to their conformally coated circuit boards and carefully designed sealed aluminum chassis.

These are Class-D amplifiers, meaning they run at or over 90% efficiency. Compare this to Class-A/B amps, which run at less than 78% efficiency. This means smaller heat shrinks, less power draw from your vehicle’s charging system, and smaller internal components, allowing for a smaller overall footprint. Class D amps waste less energy and can pack more power into a smaller chassis.

Put this in my boat and was super impressed with the power and clarity out of such a small amp. With being on a boat you tend to need more power and this little guy did not disappoint. It's running 6.5 inch infinty kappa marine fronts, 8 inch infinity kappa 3 way marine rears and 10 inch marine bazooka tube. Runs it all no problem and you can hear it clear doing 30 knots with my 225 outboard.

Was a tight fit in a 2010 Electra Glide faring, but taking the two harnesses loose on each side of the radio did the trick, but it's tight. That being said, this thing is a BEAST. I have Hog Tunes 5.25 XL's in the fairing and installed 2 MB QUARTS Marine 6.5's in some lowers I got. I can hear my music clearly, and even hear the mid-bass, at 80 mph. To be honest, they get so loud it hurts. I can feel the mids in my chest! If you Google these amps, and watch the guys Dyno them on YouTube, they all perform above their rating. Around 115ish RMS 4 ohm x 4 (vs rated 100), about 185ish 2 ohm x 4 (rated 150), and just shy of 400 RMS at 4 ohm x 2 bridged. I really couldn't be happier. And the 2 or 4 channel input selector is great. I had to use it when I accidentally touched an 8 gauge hot wire to the negative on one of my head unit's pre-outs while swapping in the amp (I have metal RCA ends in the 1' patch cables I bought. Lesson learned. Go rubber, all I have to say about that). I fried my FR pre-out (it's at about 1/3 volume of the other 3 outs, and muddy as hell now). So being able to run all 4 channels off my two rear pre-outs saved the day.I'm running these full range, so I can't say much about the built-in HPF or LPF, I use my head unit to do HPF'ing. I also didn't hook up the bass boost, as these are on full-range speakers. And as the largest are 6.5" I don't want to boost the base any more than my EQ already does.I haven't been able to get it to distort or clip yet. It gets so loud before it does either, I can't stand to push it far enough to see where it actually distorts/clips. It's so loud it hurts. And I fear melting my speakers.I tried a Rockford first, but it came DAO (inputs were dead on all four channels so I returned it). A buddy let me borrow his SoundStream 1000 watt 4 channel till this came in. This thing is 3 or 4x the amp the SoundStream was. The SS was a slight improvement over stock. I still couldn't hear my music clearly at 70. This NVX is in a totally different class. I can't just hear SOME of the music at 80 mph. I can hear ALL the music. The highs, the vocals, the mids. It's all there. And clear. Uncomfortably so. Kinda makes your ears ring after a while. And this is over my Harley's pipes as well.I'm very happy with this amp. I'll update if that changes.

Ordered this on April 2, 20203. Got it installed on my motorcycle, and I was impressed. I rode a few short trips around town jamming out to music after it was installed and then parked my motorcycle for about a month or so due to some surgeries. Last month I broke out the bike to participate in a big ride with the American Legion. Halfway through the ride, my left speaker goes out, (the way it sounded, I was 100% sure I had blown a speaker). I thought “Crappy speakers”, after all, they were new too and I was advised that they weren’t a good option. So I bought brand new top of the line speakers and had them installed. After the install, the left speaker was making noise but not sound. I checked all the settings on my radio and rechecked all the wiring before getting in there and swapping things around to isolate the problem. I narrowed it down to the left output channel on the amp. After 4 or 5 trips around town (less than 10 miles), sitting in my garage, and another 50-60 miles of riding, this amp is done. Don’t be like me and waste your hard earned money and time with this product.

I put this on my Harley to power 2 6.5s and 2 6x9s like most are going to. With as much power thus little amp has, and the efficiency of these new neo magnet motorcycle speakers. It's unbelievable. Drown out your exhaust loud. They have met or exceeded every amp dyno I've ever watched. I would 100% look at them for my truck.

Trying to upgrade my Trans Am convertible to something that I can hear with the top down without distortion. (Read: Challenging situation and I'm super picky). I went through 3 different amps and settled on this one. One name brand one that cost over $1k even blew up on me! Whereas this one in the same situation has no issue. I have it paired with a DSP and it sounds AMAZING. Literally shakes the seats, and if you are familiar with this car there is zero space for good speakers. It's driving some Rockford Fosgate speakers in the doors and Earthquake low profile 100W subs in the rear set up with a 100w pair of tweeters for a full range rear. I can crank it to full volume with no distortion and it sounds like a million bucks. And after running it for an hour test just now, it it is just warm. No sign of stress.

Using in a boat. Power supply is lacking some filtering that allows the blower to "buzz" in the speakers. Wasn't a problem with the old amp this one replaced. Overall excellent amp for the money.

This amp produces fantastic sound from a tiny footprint. I was able to tuck it way up underneath the dash of my 1995 Ski Ray. After adding a wake tower with two speakers I needed an amp to run them along with the existing 4 speakers already in the boat. The 6 channel version is the perfect application for my needs. I installed a second battery with an isolator to power the stereo system. The amp produces more than enough power to send clear sound while under power and can be heard clearly by the person being pulled behind the boat.

It was bought for my sxs. I have the Noam sub and 2 speakers. The Noam amp quit so I bought this bc it was cheaper. It works decent but not as powerful as the previous amp that was rated at a lower RMS. I have to set the gain all the way up for the sub to sound..ok..
