Nice and easy to install. Petcock isnt so great due to it's not clearing gas manifold. I just used a lil brass plug and problem solved.

It is a lot simpler to use then taking out a plug when draining the camper water heater.Not easy to install, not mush room in a camper water heater. Had to take off the gas like to install.

It took a few tries to get this installed and working without leaks in our trailer's hot water heater. We ended up having to install it temporarily and use one weekend with a light leak, but the following weekend with some plumber's thread compound, we were able to install all the parts with a minimum of difficulty and finally no leaks. I won't check it again until this fall when it comes time to winterize the trailer. It fit okay once we used the compound (like a liquid plumber's Teflon tape). We both struggled with the initial install, and therefore we both recommend using a thread compound or postpone trying. As anyone who has worked on rv water heaters can tell you, there is not a lot of room to work on the plug/fittings and you may well need a variety of tools. I will update this fall with more details.
