I travel quite a bit for work, and often have to sleep on mattresses that are far from comfortable. A friend recommended this product (she uses her for camping), and it's the best purchase I've made in a long time. I no longer have the back pain I used to have while on the road. The pad is super simple to self inflate (though it took about 30 minutes the first time I used it, but gosh, it was so worth the wait!) and almost as simple to deflate and pack up again (I got better/quicker with it each time). I'm even to the point where I can pack it in my suitcase! And it's SO COMFORTABLE! Quality product AND (finally) quality sleep!

We got this for my kids and it is super easy to set up, is super comfortable thanks to the memory foam pad and not to heavy at all. We got these because they're more compact than an air mattress and work really well. We got a larger one for ourselves and got way better sleep than a traditional air mattress. 10/10 recommend

This mat is well liked by my wife because it is seriously comfortable! My only issue with this mat is that it's really heavy, so much so that I weighed myself with it! This mat weight is 7.5lbs (4.3Kg), not 2.5 like the ad says. I don't think I'd want to backpack with this mat. I think it would be perfect for four wheeling or car camping and winter camping since the mat has an 9.5 R-Value! (You are usually not carrying extra weight on your back during the winter your hauling weight in a sled. Where this would shine is being carried on a quad or 4x4 for your camping trip) Would this work for backpacking, sure if you are ok with extra weight, but I think it's going to be a little too much for most people if they are used to military surplus PT mats or air mats that are lighter. I'm used to ultra light foam, or blow up/foot pump air mats. That being said this mat is way nicer for firm comfort that is more like a memory foam bed so if your willing to carry more, it might really be worth it for the amount of comfort it would provide. Carry bag and elastic bands included for rolling it up and it seems that it would be about like having another small sleeping bag in the pack area, I'm giving this mat a four out of five stars for comfort despite the weight being off in the ad. Thank you! -Mike

I liked the craftsmanship , fabric texture and density. It may be narrow for a large build oerson

The mat did indeed inflate on its own, but it was not as thick as the description indicates and I did feel pressure on my hip against the ground. I'm a small person and my heavier partner (still within the weight limit) was more uncomfortable. There is a valve on the back that allows you to add air by other means, so it's possible that with more air, this problem would be solved, but the mat is advertised as self-inflating so I reduced a star for that. The other lost star is because we had heavy rain and despite the tarp and water-resistant tent, the underside of the mat got very damp. It retained a lot of water and after several attempts at drying in the sun it is still damp. I haven't been able to pack it away yet for fear of mold. Definitely not waterproof.

Great self-inflating mattress pad. No tools required which is perfect since I took for camping also different mattress just in case with not matching pump so luckily I had this one! Takes up some space when folded (in comparison with ..... forgot the name, will update it). Flat which is way more comfortable than those with separate air cells. I think really good price! Recommended!
