As a diver I have had my fair share of drysuits that I have been issued or purchased for recreational use. I bought this drysuit specifically for jetsking during the winter months. Where water temps drop to high 30's and air temps go as low as 18 below. I was hesitant at first about the neoprene neck due to the fact i knew it would let some water channel in, but was not sure how much. I was willing to take the risk because I did not want another latex or silicone neck for the comfort factor. I have been using this suit for about a month now and love it. I purchased a LARGE, I weigh 180lbs and 5'11 with broad shoulders. This size was perfect for me, I wear 2 sets of tight thermals and 2 pairs of sweats and still have plenty of wiggle room for tricks and maneuvers. From body movement etc air builds up in the suit this also adds a buoyancy factor as well. This also aids in keeping you afloat when you get tossed off at 30mph and keeps water out. I have fully submerged myself and watched air bubbles release from the neck under the water, after all of the air was purged out the amount that leaked in was about 6oz. So i decided to buy a sauna suit to wear as my last layer and that works perfect. All in all well made, water tight, ridged zipper, great price, added features that I did not know before buying was that comes with internal suspenders to keep crouch up and external recessed cuffs on top and bottom perfect for booties and gloves..

Its very easy and quick to get into on the boat. Make sure you fold the neck in so the shiny smooth part can seal against your skin, i sit down and try and curl up tight while holding the neck open to help bleed most the air out before getting in the water, and bleed it again once i'm in the water, otherwise if you wreck hard, the air will leak out the seams and some water can get in.When the water is very cold, you can dress as warm as you want to under it, tons of room. You can wear your lifejacket under it too, so it stays dry, and you don't have to get your boat all wet in the cold. I was wakeboarding in 45 degree water the other day with pants, t shirt and a hoodie on under it, after wakeboarding for 10 minutes i had to let go of the rope and sit in the water to cool down haha. If you bleed the air before riding it does not leak at all, you and your clothes come out completely dry, just get some gloves and neoprene socks to go with. I am 5'10 195lbs and a large fits good, it also worked for my sister who is 5'7 120lbs

Seams leaked around the legs pretty seriously. After being in the water for about 45 minutes, I had approximately a half gallon in the suit. It was enough to soak my floor when I took it off. I really like the look and the fit of the suit, but unfortunately it leaks way too much through the seams.

Works as expected but the zipper being on the back makes an already stiff and hard to close zipper a difficult task to do alone. Comfortable but makes a lot of noise when walking and moving around

Lower price point than a lot of dry suits, but quality is not compromised. Works well with cold weather stand up paddle boarding. UPDATE 12/2016: A year after buying this suit I'm updating my review and making it four stars instead of five. I still recommend it enthusiastically, but I ran into a problem with the zipper that you may be able to avoid if learn from my mistake: The zipper works well as long as you keep it well lubricated with an appropriate zip lubricating product. It worked well for me last season with the lubricant on it, but this season I neglected to reapply the lubricant and the zipper failed to catch properly. Once it came off the zipper track, there was no way to get it back on track and I had to send it to O'Neill for a potential $100+ repair [they ended up replacing the suit for free, see below!]. IF YOU DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE AND LUBE THE ZIPPER PROPERLY, YOU SHOULD AVOID THE PROBLEM I RAN INTO. The zipper is EXCLUDED from the manufacturer warranty, so you must pay attention to this issue or else pay for a repair. It's a little crazy that they would exclude this vulnerable part of the suit from their warranty -- it's almost like an admission that they expect the zipper to need repair at a higher rate than normal. UPDATE 12/13/2016: I just talked to O'Neill and learned that they immediately shipped a replacement suit, for free, to me after they received my damaged suit last week. So even though the zipper failed, I can say that customer service did not fail and in fact exceeded expectations by replacing this suit out of warranty. Great product, great customer service.

Does the job as a dry suit (without footies). Keeps you dry-ankle to neck. However design of neck neoprene is terrible. Way too high, stiff and choking issue. Did multiple cuts to get comfort OK. Per other reviews it seems this is common complaint and cutting it down is common fix. better than having it leak. Zipper is OK. waterproofing at Ankle and wrist braces are fine. sizing was as desired. Gave it high rating because price is very favorable compared to other options considered so did not count the neck issue (since fixable) too harshly in rating.

This is a wonderful product at a great price. I would recommend ordering a size larger than you are so you have room for warm items under it. It was a very comfortable suit! The neck was a little too long for both of us; however you can trim it up with no problems. I did experience a tiny amount of leaking after my husband graciously dumped me into the water, "to see if the suit worked." He did this playfully of course...The leaking was very small and I only knew it happened because we were in ocean in the middle of December...and the water was COLD!! Otherwise I might have simply thought it was sweat.

I wanted to like this thing, but I just don't enjoy wearing it. I don't even think it's an issue with this brand or model but more an issue with drysuits in general. The neck seal is too tight but if you make it loose enough to breath then it lets water in. I just feel strangled wearing this in general, but I think maybe I have a bigger than usual neck. Overall the material quality is good and the design is good, if this fits you well and you don't feel like you're suffocating it would probably be a great drysuit.

Ankle gaskets not tight enough. Shoulder strap buckels are backwards with round part toward chest. Very painful (Picture)

Stayed in the box till May for first use. Waxed the zipper and checked the whole suit before using. Used it four times and it leaked every time around the neck seal and the zipper. O'neill hasn't been able to provide me with any information on how to care for the suit other than wax the zipper and keep out of sunlight when not using it. Not happy with this purchase.
