Got this to fix some rough shifting and shuddering on a 2008 VW Jetta SEL. It seemed to be worst on warm/hot days when doing city driving and coasting to a stop. It's almost like it wouldn't let go of 2nd or 3rd and then finally slam into the next lower gear.I did so much research on whether or not to get a full valve body, replace the solenoids, or this shift kit. The Internet was full of opinions and no good solid solutions. So, I took a gamble and bought this kit and boy am I glad I did.The kits was high quality with detailed instructions. The drill bits worked well and were machined to the correct tolerances. I took my time and followed the instructions. I did have one hiccup when I forgot to clean off the burrs from grinding the caps off the solenoid. When I tried to put on the new provided cap I mangled it pretty badly. There were no spares provided so I messaged Trans Go and they got back to me within the hour, on a weekend, when they are supposed to be closed. They got me two spares sent out free of charge as soon as they could. Very impressive customer service.The car shifts so much better now and I don't have to deal with a $700 valve body or new transmission. I am very satisfied with this kit and Trans Go as a whole. Definitely will be recommending them to all of my friends.

Kit was complete as far as listed items, instructions were easy to follow and well described visual aid for drilling holes and reassembly of valve body. Issues are if you have the small body solenoids the caps will not work for 5 of the 6 solenoids. Suggest to identify which bodies you have before ordering. Also the drill bits are pretty weak, broke off the medium bits tip on the first hole.
