I have some steel pipes and some copper pipes and even some aluminum pipes. After many decades of usage there are some missing or broken hangers leading to some sagging plumbing pipes. Now of course I would have to use copper strapping for copper pipes, aluminum strapping for aluminum straps and steel strapping for the steel pipes! But instead I can use this plastic strapping to secure all of my pipes. And, so far, there is no problem using it for hot pipes at approximately 180F degrees. For even additional stability I line up two of the holes directly above the pipe and insert a machine screw and a nut through the holes and tighten. Works great! And, finally, I have found additional non-plumbing uses for this item, as a makeshift way to temporarily secure broken household items. Enjoy!

We bought this roll of heavy duty strap to replace or add in addition to existing metal brackets/straps. We use them to hang up pvc and copper pipes and conduits. From our experience, it' best to use two pieces of straps next to each other, cut with enough length to wrap around the pipe and enough slack to fit two long screws to hold up heavier pipes/conduits. Very useful around the house.

Anyone who knows me, wants me to stop going on about pipe securing straps. ‘Matt, give it a rest dude. We get there are many options.’Oh the hundreds of straps I’ve reviewed these are bout the most middle of the pack. The steel version, little tougher to cut, it is steel, but also middle of the road.I guess now that I think about it, most pipe strap is about the same. This is a good one, but another one probably is too.So I’d say buy this one as you’ve now spent more time reading this than you should have in finding a pipe strap on Amazon.

I needed to secure some plastic pipe that was being used for condnsation from a heater / AC unit. It was easy to cut and work with, and at the best price I could find. Not sure what they mean by warmth, it is a roll of plastic...

It seemed a little expensive at first glance, but a 100' roll is sooooo much bigger than the stuff you usually find at the store. Works great and there's plenty there to last through many projects.

Great product. Much better for hanging the duct, wires, and pipes under the house. This replaced the old standby bailing twine that some "Contractor" put in. I really like having some of this on hand for odd jobs. It is great!

Easy to use strapping... cuts with knife or metal sheers.I used it to ceiling hang 6 inch PVC pipe for a dust collector in my shopI did add a washer to the screw I was using to mount the strapping. Not sure it was needed.

Worked in a situation where a metal strap / rigid plastic would not have worked at all
