Great stuff. It is plastic, but it looks very similar to rafia. It even shreds, if you split the ends. The plus is that you can get the length you need and if you are using several "strands," you don't need to worry about some being shorter than others.This red is a perfect Christmas red.

This Olive raffia ribbon is beautiful. Love adding to packages with creams and browns for a natural look. Looks great with Kraft wrapping paper too.

I purchased the raffia to tie around lace that was attached to milk jugs for center pieces for my sons's wedding reception. The colors for the reception were sage and blush pink. So, this color was perfect. It is more of a sage color than an olive color which was better for us. The raffia was easy to work with, tied nicely and looked great. I happened to accidentally run across the colored raffia while looking for something else and decided to make use of it. It helped add color and dimension to the centerpieces and was a great accompaniment to the pink and ivory roses.

Color is more pink-purple than the redder photos in the Amazon app, but it is OK. I am becoming more eco-friendly as a consumer, using raffia instead of plastic ribbon. I was not thrilled about the large plastic reel. However, the ribbon itself is paper and seems quite strong.

I use this product to wrap up my hand crafted soap projects. It's flexible, easy to tie, I like the matte finish and subdued color. I did break it once by pulling too hard, but usually find it to be strong enough. When it gets wet it doesn't bleed color all over. Good price for 100 yards of material.

I like this color blue especially with the box color and sticker I use in my product shipping. I make jewelry and like to gift wrap most orders and the blue looks great with white box and my logo sticker. I pull the ribbon apart to make the ends shaggy for a natural look. My third order.

J'ai acheté ce ruban pour aller avec un emballage acheté en même temps. La couleur ne correspond pas du tout a celle montré... le rose est un rose bébé... rien a voir avec le vieux rose du papier ... déçue!
