This device is absolutely necessary if you want to save yourself money in diagnosing and fixing problems. For example, I wanted to upgrade my car's battery from a regular one to an AGM battery which requires clearing out codes and adapting the new battery to the electrical system. If you do this at a VW dealer, it will cost you nearly $500 (with battery). I bought the battery for $175 and did all the electrical stuff with this OBDeleven product.Here's what I like about it:1. The app (you have to download it for iOS or Android) is easy to use and very modern. Whoever is behind it keeps it up-to-date.2. The scanner syncs with the app quickly and easily. If you have ever connected AirPods to your iPhone, it's about that easy.3. It reads all of the codes and gives you a description of what they are. And they provide links to get more information if you need it.4. It's easy to clear all of the outstanding codes (and there's a lot of them when you switch batteries).5. The scanner is small and compact, and you can hide it in your glovebox.6. It's just fun to use.Remember this device only works with Volkswagen Auto Group cars, which I believe includes VW, Audi, Porsche, and a few other brands in the USA.

2006 Audi A4 B7 FWD CVT Premium.I needed to turn off the STUPID SEAT BELT CHIME. Buying the Ross-Tech for $300 just for that is not a good idea. I heard this can turn it off. It WORKED! I also made a couple of mods too.It's pricey since you can get monitoring bluetooth readers for $15. I like the capabilities and I think it's a good investment since it can be updated.Also, some of the channels have instructions built in meaning there's no need to scour the internet.The app is OK but it does need you to log in, but then again what doesn't nowadays.Recommended only if you plan to mod your Audi.

got this PRO PACK ODB, however, it only allowed me to run and scan my vehicle, eventually clearing minor errors, however in irder to make any adjustments like eg (adding high beam assistance) it ask me to buy 100 credit by the value of 39.99$ extra, which is against the concept of my PRO VAG plan, even if i would like to make a repair such as brakes job, and if i want to release my EPB. it also asked me to purchase extra credit to open it + more credit to lock it back after the finished job...im not sure why would i purchase extra credits while all of that should be included in my plan, i tried to reach the customer service they are highly dissmissive..they will respond back after a couple of days, it was such waste of time and money.

I bought for my Audi Q7 vehicle. Software and diagnostic performance is so good. Who has a Audi, Vw or Porsche car, they should be buy this special diagnostic tool. You don’t need a go to service or mechanic shop for the for the diagnosed the car. Definitely i recommend this product.

As the poetic title says, the OBDElevan value addition is dependent upon the vehicle owner’s value perception in terms of expectation and what it will actually achieve.As for me, its another OBD2 device! Sadly for me, for my Audi Q2, it offered very little useful features as possible enhancements.As a tech freak, i do not regret the investment!For buyers like I, buying a pro version, need to know that the pro version does not come with any free credits although some social media and youtubers claim it does. What the pro version you pay will give you is a year’s license!! So credits have to be purchased but this is pretty easy to get and is not that costly either.Having cleared that, i had a couple of cool features I wanted activated in my Q2. One was the needle sweep which is a cool and nice feature. The activation was a breeze and it worked fine.The other feature i wanted activated was the auto headlight dimmer. I used to have it on my merc CLA and thought it would be nice on my Q2 also. The windscreen camera is present on my car but the headlight dipping feature was not possible to be activated using the OBDElevan! 😵â€ðŸ’«.Then I wanted to get another cool feature, balance fuel Refil information on the display. This got activated using my OBDelevan but the car display was not showing this information. I spent a good day trying to get this displayed but of no use and then decided to write to OBDElevan customer service. Unfortunately, they were of very little help, asking me to download the vehicles coding parameters and upload to them. This is risky business so I decided to foego my 10 credits!All in all it’s a cute and practical product. With my experience, I would not trust all features they say can be achieved without trying them, which means one got to spend credits. Hopefully, mine maybe an isolated incident! But OBDelevans inability to help without a download of the cars entire system, to me is a demotivator.I am yet to try fault codes (there were none present in my car to test) clearing part using this device. I am sure it works but shall update this forum when i eventually get the opportunity to do so.In short, it’s a nice gadget to have. Decide yourself if you should spend for a pro version or not which all depends on the support and features the device can provide to your car.

Pünktliche Lieferung, einfache Bedienung.Auslesen und Löschen vom Fehlerspeicher hat ohne Probleme funktioniert.Dadurch erreicht man ein Stück Unabhängigkeit von der Werkstatt und kann sich zunächst selbst einen Eindruck verschaffen, ohne direkt für das Auslesen einen Termin vereinbaren zu müssen, der meist auch schon mit einer Pauschale bezahlt sein will.Dennoch ist Eigenverantwortung wichtig: Einen Fehler z.B. im ABS-System sollte man nicht dauerhaft selbst löschen! Man muss wissen, was man tut!

The first plunge in trying an onboard diagnostic (OBD) Build quality is excellent, small device easy fits in a pocket. There is a large following online with much information. The website is good, the android app works on Samsung and Pixel devices, and easy to set up.My initial scans confirmed two errors which were easy to clear, and re-ran the scan with no errors. Excellent value for money.
