The Occer 12x25 binoculars are a fantastic choice for outdoor activities! They’re lightweight and easy to carry, making them perfect for travel and hiking. The large eyepiece provides a clear and bright view, even in low light conditions. Adjusting the focus is simple, and the grip feels secure. The build itself is very strong, I would trust to take them anywhere. I’ve used them for bird watching and sightseeing, and they work wonderfully. The waterproof feature is a bonus for unpredictable weather. Great value for both adults and kids. Highly recommend!

I used these binoculars on a cruise and I was pleasantly surprised at how clearly I could see people and buildings in the distance when we stopped at our ports. I think they work well up to a mile away.

These are nice, compact, lightweight binoculars. I bought them so I could read subtitles on a TV that is waaay across the room . For that purpose, they work well. They adjust up and down, around your nose, and have a small dial that helps to focus in on your subject. However, searching at a distance, the view is clear enough but, when I look up or down, the view is obscured by the walls of the binoculars. Maybe I just need to practice more. For basic use, they are great for the price.

If you are a beginner, or need this for a child or someone like me who’s clumsy with small hands, these binoculars are amazing! I’ve dropped them so many times and they have barely a mark on them. Which is super impressive and important for me. (Got a different more expensive one that broke within 3 days so to say these are well made is an understatement because these have lasted many many months!) plus small so easy to travel with and use for smaller hands. It gets pretty close and pretty clear picture within this process range very good product.

I really enjoy these Occer 12x25 binoculars. The quality and clarity at 12x magnification are about all I need for most day to day uses. The 25 mm objective lens is also ideal for most of my days here in Arizona, as we are blessed (sometimes cursed) with so many bright and sunny days. A larger objectivelens might, however, be more helpful if one were to live in a place where sunlight wasn't as plentiful. As for the smaller size and lighter weight of the binoculars, I'd have to say they are spot on! I can wear them draped over my neck all day and still feel comfortable. As a side note, they look great, too, but that's just my opinion. The functionality is also excellent. The ease of adjustment is simple, and the smoothness of the dials makes manipulation a breeze. All in all I'd have to give these Occer's a solid two thumbs up. They aren't on par with a set of Zeiss's, but then they won't leave your wallet as empty either.

I purchased these compact Occer binoculars on Amazon a while back. These particular binoculars have been the top selling binocular on Amazon for a very long period of time. That fact alone got me interested in buying them. I have a very large collection of binoculars at home. I live in the California high desert in a beautiful scenic valley with spectacular views. This dark sky area I live in is also ideal for astronomy. These come with a very nice carry case and the two rubber eye cups that come with the binoculars are attached to each other, which is a good idea, less likelihood of them getting lost. These come with a thin economy style neck strap. These binoculars have these rotating eye cups that extend outwards as you twist them. I've never seen this feature before on binoculars, I think it's mainly for eyeglass wearers. The eye cups can be extended out for quite a distance from the binoculars body.My first impression of these Occer binoculars is extreme disappointment with the magnification. The Chinese manufacturing companys love to exaggerate magnification claims on these economy binocular models. I'd say the true magnification on my binoculars is only about 7 1/2 power, nowhere near the stated 12 power placed in the Amazon ad. I make this claim judging from the magnification that my other binoculars provide. I bought another new pair of compact binoculars around the same time I bought these Occers. This other set was around the same price and are a bit smaller in size than the Occer brand. I prefer this other brand over the Occers set because of the increased magnification they provide. Sadly this model was discontinued right after I bought them. The Chinese are so advanced now in binocular manufacturing that it's hard to go wrong buying an inexpensive set of binoculars with BAK4 prisms. All these BAK4 binoculars sold on Amazon provide excellent image clarity and detail. The image quality from one brand to another is negligible due to the high quality standards the Chinese now have in their manufacturing process. All these different binocular brands with BAK4 prisms provide excellent image quality that was not available on cheap binoculars many years ago. Now if they could only be a bit more honest on the true stated magnification in their ads, then they would hit a home run!

We were looking for a decent binocular that would focus close enough to watch the goldfinches at the feeder. Haven't measured but it's around 10 feet and it easily focuses that distance, probably a bit less. Image quality is very good, better than expected. It's body is plastic, ABS claimed. Despite, it looks and feels solid, the focus knob works smoothly. Considering the cost it performs very well. Pleased with our purchase.
